The fact that you can drop this AGAIN, 20 years later and we, your fans, will rock it as if we are hearing it for the first time says a lot about a song and the artist. Much love and respect! 🖤🖤🖤❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
FOR CLARITY... Lyfe doesn't own the masters for his music. After 20 years, he's able re-release his music. And he then becomes the owner of the newly released material, thus becoming the Master of his masters. Enjoy the old, but definitely support the new. Shout out to Lyfe.
Lmao that was funny somebody stop me to purchase his music from a cd I’m like wait how I’m gone listen to this he like somebody in your family got something lol

I remember the first day you walked out on APOLLO... how the laughs and boos were IMMEDIATELY HUMBLED AND WON OVER!! Never missed an episode of your easy winning!! #STILLWINNING (Even though I'm still tryna forgive you for my tuning in to love and hip hop simply bc you were on the show😂)
To the individual who is reading this please quit overthinking everything every day and night . Stop obsessing over your failures. Stop doubting yourself and seeing the greatness in everyone else but you. You are better than that. You deserve more. Start showing up differently to yourself. Believe in yourself. God wont ever hand you something you cant handle. You are a star in this world . may God bless whoever sees this
I was 4 years into a 13 year sentence 20 years old when this came out. I was in Intensive Management Unit for a Riot listening to this on the radio. Thinking I'll never go home. Now I'm 40 with a 12 year old son(step son) Been in his life since he was 1. And a 2 year old daughter and married for 9 years. But this still brings out all my emotions. I remember
This song reminds me of my late husband, Matthew. He came from a world I didn't understand, but he survived. He became a Pastor in prison and gave his life to Jesus. He got cancer and passed away as we were worshiping the Lord 🙏 It was nice to know true love ❤️ 🕊 Rest in His peace, Mi Amor 🥁
I was pregnant with my 19 year old daughter when I fell in love with this song. I was working as a nanny and would watch music videos before I got the kids up for school, and this would play.
I was pregnant with my 19-year-old son and November marks 20 years since my husband went to prison. I'm still here and he goes to parole in January 2024.
As a man who was incarcerated, there comes a point in a man’s life when he decides whether or not he will continue down the path he going or move on to bigger and better things. I pray all at the fork in the road make the right choice and realize god is there to support them if they choose to do right. 🙏
I'm crying while listening to and watching this video. 20 years later it still hits me and reminds me of where I was and how far I've come. Blessings to Mr. Lyfe Jennings
I met this man 11-11-13 on my bday it was one of the happiest days of my life.. it was on my bday and to have met him and he’s my fave was truly an experience I’ll never forget.. real respectful humble and I appreciate that ❤️🙏🏽
First and foremost, I would like to say, “Thank you Lyfe.” Man you helped me walk down level 3, 2, 1 and then freedom (J-85615). 17 years free. When I’m going through something out here I turn you on and I still remember I’M STILL HERE. When I use to think about doing wrong again I remember, THE SAME THING THAT MAKES YOU LAUGH IS THE SAME THING THAT MAKES YOU CRY. Again, THANK YOU for making music that helped me make it through. Keep doing you and keep making GOOD music that touches and helps people. May Allah reward your efforts.
Omg I’m glad this came across my feed!!! I wish my dad was here to watch this with me. Rest in heaven dad. Thank you for introducing me to LYFE 🫶🏾 I still listen to the whole album.
30 years corrections, and law enforcement I retired at 50, Lyfe my workers over heard your whole CD I was playing at work, it was a healing way of reminding them some of us are pulling for our people, I pray they all got it right and never came back. Be blessed all of you, I never will work there again, it was a blessing, but I moved on , Preaching for almost 30 years, God was with me the whole time.
Wow I was 9 years old when I first heard this song and I couldn’t quite understand why it was so hot back then…I’m 29 years old now and I finally understand why this song is so crucial for SOUL, RnB. It’s soul piercing. It’s raw, real life! It’s grown! Must be niiiiice ❤
Years ago. In Toledo Ohio. One of my co-workers. Met Lyfe Jennings. Before the world knew who he was. My co-worker told me Lyfe was just playing his guitar on the stairs in his apartment complex. Lyfe Jennings told my co-worker. That he had won a talent contest and would be dropping an album soon. 20 years later.. Who knew what would happen? Salute to Lyfe. Keep making music bro.

20 years later, and this song still warms my heart, loves the movement, loves your ideas, the children book, and congratulations on the A.O.U! Thank you, Lyfe!
Man as we watch the party die with the current industry..I have a feeling ALL the artists like Lyfe and so many others who were blackballed and didn’t sell their souls are making a big COMEBACK!! Love that he owns his own MASTERS!!👏🏾👏🏾
Lyfe was introduced to me 2002 -2003 in Texas, while visiting family Album: Lyfe 268-192 to be exact. I remember it clearly because that was around the time that I met my father for the first time. He had a girlfriend that I always rode around with doing errands and things with, shopping etc. She had all boys, so having a girl around brought her so much joy ❤ And she always played three things in the car , the radio, and a few CDs. A mix of R&B, some random mix, and Lyfe. I fell in love with listening to Lyfe more A little while later back in California, where I'm from, I ended up hearing it on the local radio channel 106.1 KMEL While everyone was getting hyped about the song, I was just sitting there like " I know this song" 😊 No one believed me, until I had to show them the CD and let them listen to it. I had a cousin that loves that song "Mighty as lion, but as gentle as bluebird" is her favorite part 😂 That's my favorite Lyfe memory, And Cry is my favorite Lyfe song❤
Nah this is INSANE I was literally singing this song yesterday and I said “if this song was released today it would say ‘Aye yo u that just clicked on this streaming platform’” 🤯
This made me tear up. We’ve come a long way! I fell in love with Lyfe’s music when I first moved to America from Africa 20 years ago. I’m soo happy he’s still making music!
" Must Be Nice " after all this time is absolutely amazing love this 🔥🔥It must be nice yessss I clicked so fast. Between the beginning with Forrest Gump theatrical. To the ending with the analogy of the elephants. Loved every moment of "must be nice" remake 🔥Vocals still fresh🔥 lyrics still 🔥Thank you Lyfe Jennings for still making music for us fans after 20 years. If you see this comment I want to say thank you, You are greatly appreciated and supported. We love you. We appreciate you. I remember meeting you twice in my lifetime. I wish I would've got your autograph. I played this jam and others seems like a trillion times. I will be adding this jam from original masterpiece to my playlist.
