In order for you to understand the song you have to listen to his whole album. He pretty much walks you through his life when we was in jail, when he got out and what happens afterward. So he is not condoning it he speaking about the mistakes he made in his life and how is his on the road to greatness! Next you have the listen to Phoenix ! So please don't judge if you don't understand everyone wasn't perfect and everyone didn't come from a great life and we all made different choices !!

King Z I was listening Lyfe today at work and I pretty much uttered the same words. Lyfe really wanted to uplift us. And he did. I just wish it would have caught on and inspired more artists to follow his lead. But we went right back to music that's so negative that I can't even listen to the radio for literally 10 seconds.

It's more than church sometimes even church ain't the answer. There's alot of hypocritical people at church that why Lyfe made the song called "Made up my mind" I don't know what the answer is but church ain't necessarily it. It's changing for the better every individual has different inspiration you can't force religion onto someone. You gotta let them find themselves and help them with good advice but don't pressure them they are their own people life is hard but I know church is not always the answer there's alot of fake people at church.

I heard one song by Lyfe in 03 when i was 19. Bought the album as soon as it dropped in 04. That was back when it was a leap of faith to spend your 17 or 20 bucks on a cd lol. There was no streaming. Only bootlegging lol. All you got to hear before hand was the singles IF your local station played them or get lucky and see the video on tv, if you had cable. Anywho, its still one of my favorite albums.
