I can feel the emotion in her voice. She's one of the few artists I can emotionally connect with.

It Surprises me that she has never been casted as an actress in a movie, her facial expressions are heart breaking. I would like to see her in a Lynch' movie for example.

Real artist put out what they want to convey in a recording. If you think she needs to change her voice or make a dance record than maybe you just don't get her emotions in this song. When she wants to and feels more upbeat I'm sure she records it that way. Every song and album cant be the same if you record and write from your own feelings. Do you feel upbeat and cheerful every waking moment. I'm guessing not. Maybe, possibly a lot of the time but not every time all the time.
