track 6 is Main Offender, lead cut on The Brotherhood, Lynch Mob's 2017 release. In my opinion their best album, it's an absolute barnatormer. Great songs, killer playing, varied, passionate, and Oni's best singing
George is going to be 70 next year 🤘. He's a legend and underrated like Jake.e.Lee, who funnily enough Ozzy gave the gig to after Randy's passing. These guys are immortal and truly legends. Where are the next generation of guitarists who will be pushing the guitar technically and ripping at 70???????? Long live the 80's hair metal, thrash revolution.
He's actually really inspiring to myself as a guitarist/musician, I'm 37 and have worked out for the past 10yrs and hope to look as good as George when I'm that age!
GL is awesome man. we are so lucky to have this unique original hard rock/metal guitar voice/Style to enjoy. His tone here is big warm and harmonic. I bet it sounded incredible in the room.
@@RezaMatix you're more metal than he is, but I definitely hear some Lynch influence in your lead playing. Your rhythm playing is an entirely different animal. Your channel rocks by the way, best gear reviews on RU-vid.
This recording doesn't quite capture how good Lynch Mob sounded. They really need a live album with this line-up, as they absolutely slayed that night and sounded ferocious live. Definitely the better of the two bands that night...
This kid came out of nowhere. Does anybody know his background? He is a fantastic frontman. He is the whole package. Looks, voice, moves. He has injected new life into this band. Please come to the Starland Ballroom in NJ. George is almost 70 years old. How can that be? He looks and sounds fantastic as well. I love Lynch Mob.
Man you really see how much George was, is, the Dokken sound. These songs remind me of thos killer songs on "Unleashed in the East" I was an active duty Marine back mid and late 80's early 90's stationed overseas, we had Dokken blarring throught out our barracks all the time in Okinawa, Japan. Huge fan of George and all that he has going on w Mr Scary Guitars. 🤘😎🎸
Thank you so much for sharing this! I am embarrassed I did not know George was appearing at the historic Surf Ballroom! I love how pained he looks singing chorus vocals- if you ever heard him tell the story about singing in a mariachi band in Texas before he moved to LA you would understand.
Yeah, thanks so much for recording and sharing. WeEuropean fans of George can't just pop out n see him play live. 2017 was the last time over here, I believe
This mix isn't too bad. Many live shows have something wonky in the mix on You Tube or mediocre camera audio. Really hoping to catch them live again. I do like this line up. When is the next album coming out?
This version of LM is tight. They got a fire in their belly. And George as always is Killing it. He's not only an incredible lead guitarist, who has a signature style. But his Rhythm chops are solid. Love what Geoge does !!~

Solos records - 2011 : Kill all control, 2021 : Seamless 👍
From what I gathered the material George presented to Oni wasn't LM style music. George decided to use that music for his instrumental record. Oni was also waiting around while George was busy with KXM, Dirty Shirley, The Infidels, Sweet Lynch, The End Machine, and Dokken semi reunion. Oni moved on to Dio Disciples and his own projects.
Me too! I am a lifelong Dokken/Lynch fan since high school and I have history with Clear Lake and the Surf... mostly embarrassed I didn't know about it.
Just answered a question I had on the Dokken video. So, Lynch Mob did open for Dokken. This band is really tight. I like them a lot. Gonna be honest, I've gotta look up the singer & the others. The drummer hits hard. Singer looks like an Oni & I'm not sure who the bass player is. George can get just about anyone to play in his band. Would've loved to have seen this Lynch Mob line up. Maybe, they'll come through Ohio. They probably already have but I'll definitely check. Oh wow, a lot better crowd reaction with Lynch Mob. Melvin, thanks for taking the time to do this. I really appreciate it.
The singer will be on the next Lynch Mob studio album, which is already finished or very close to it and planned to be released later in the year; there is also a new singer from India for the next End Machine album, who George is raving about.
@@jazzercaster4749 Yeah these albums nowadays sometimes can materialize quickly, especially with all of the side projects/super groups going on now. The new singers name is Gabriel Colon and he is from Chile I think. I was initially concerned that he was going to be a Ronnie Romero clone but looks like he captures the vibe that they are going for pretty well.
Great stuff, thanks. I'm confused, I thought Georgie had sold his original tiger to a collector a couple of years back for 150K...? Whatever neck is on it now, this body is defo his old tiger, just where it belongs.
He definitely rushed George on the start to Flesh and Blood but I can't imagine the adrenaline rushing through me if I was on the stage with George too. He settles in nicely.
Andrew Freeman is the best replacement he's had .. this guy is good but not hitting the pitches .. he's got oni tone but not close enough for please bring back Mr.Logan .
Great band but, honestly, this lead singer is useless. Not sure what happened with the previous vocalist but he truly had a voice and range. Would have thought that Lynch could do much better than the current one.
Do not feel this rhythm section at all. They are not locked and it feels sloppy. Singer is pretty good but not as good as others that have been in band. George is great as usual.
