Lynda Carter is mourning a devastating loss. The "Wonder Woman" star announced the death of her beloved husband, Robert. A. Altman, in a lengthy and emotional Instagram post on Feb. 10, revealing that the video game executive had passed away a week earlier at age 73. Lynda shared a romantic throwback photo of the pair taken in 1983 and penned a moving tribute to their 37-year marriage and enduring love.

A thirty-seven year marriage is something that couples nowadays should envy. She may not be a superwoman in real life but sustaining a marriage with her husband this long is a superpower strength, indeed. My deepest condolences and my admiration to Mr. Robert and Mrs. Linda Altman.

My parents have been married for 60 years and are still going strong. They never had a trial separation! It happens, but then again they didn't have the temptations of Hollywood! Thank God!

Only a Happy 37yr marriage should be envied. NOT the couples who just settled in misery for decades with each other. Nothing's perfect but there has to be mutual love, joy, respect, and compassion.

Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers at this sad and difficult time. I do know how you are feeling as I, too, lost my beloved husband 10 years ago at 49 yrs old. We had a beautiful love story between us as you did and losing the love of ones life makes this loss even harder. It'll be 10 yrs in March and it still hurts like it was yesterday. I recall her professing her love for him when they became engaged all those years ago. It's clear that it was real and endured for the length of their marriage, till death did them part. That's a rarity today. Lynda paid him a wonderful tribute. I hope she and her family can make peace with their loss.

How come no one talks bout her first husband? the former Kentucky governor, many years ago. I believe Altman is her third husband. However, I do give sympathies and am sorry she lost a man that she loved. they were together a long time. Ms. Carter was a fantastic lady and our hero.
