🛞EUCungerground 🔥revrides.com Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season! What do you guys think, should I get a Lynx? Looks pretty good :D Richard is loving his and crushing it out at Greer 🫡
@@trubttam yeah good stuff. I am up in Ojai and there are a lot of nice trails around here and Santa Barbara area and not many people have seen these things before so I always try to be super nice and respectful and never blow past people from behind.
Yep excited about mine coming in a few weeks. Love my s22 pro when it’s dialed in with fresh rollers. But when you ride these type of trails, it’s a lot of maintenance.
Your a good off road rider TRUB. This is the style of riding I like as well although I wish I was that competent on my S22. I was surprised to hear you were looking at buying the Lynx. It looks like a great wheel but I would not have thought it would be as good for jumps as your S22pro.
I’m dying to try a Lynx on the big jumps, I love the s22 but it does have its downsides. There are some tall jumps that I want more power for, I have felt the s22 pedals dip there so I tried jumping begodes but they do weird stuff jumping steep stuff.
A great ride. Definitely interested in your thoughts comparing the lynx to the S22. I love my S22 but after 6000km I'm thinking if changing it. Maybe an S22 pro or lynx?
I have gone ahead and pre ordered a Lynx, it should be here before Feb and once i get some trail miles on it i can really compare the 2. There is not a huge difference between the s22 and s22 pro, especially if you already have the roller sliders on your s22.
Hi, TRUB. I watched your other video where you were talking about the e-works Clark pedals. Now that you had the chance to test them on trails I was curious about how well they held up against the abuse and pedal clipping you put it through. Those pedals look so sick and I would love to get them for my Lynx, but I am afraid that they would disintegrate on impact. What are your comments on it's durability? Awesome video!
As far as impact strength they have held up great, the spikes however have become not so spikey and are just sort of nubs now. The spikes are just a cylindrical pin with a flat top and that edge has become dull, I prefer the mtb spikes with a sort of raised star pattern like the ones found on erides pedals. Hope that helps! Have fun!
The only settings I can really change are percent 0-100 (soft-strong) pedal angle forward-backward and the on off for low bat mode and high speed mode. What percent do most people ride veterans? 50? 80? 100?
I’ve never had a Leaperkim wheel, hopefully some riders that have can let us know. I typically like really hard pedals fwiw. I wonder if that Lynx just needs a calibration 🤷♂️
