My last rescue pitt was named “The Breeze”, By us of course! Her name from the rescue was Margo- Ya from that day forward, that shit was not gonna float so we named her after my favorite song we danced to that song at my wedding in 1985 and it was on Independence Day so I would remember when my wedding was, our beautiful pies ended up with cerebellum syndrome for the last years of our life. She had no use of her real legs, so I’d come home from work and grab her and take her down the stairs. She enjoyed up until near the animal, we probably should’ve pulled the plug but we waited. But she had the fucking willpower of 10 pit bulls! I buried our beloved breezy next to our beloved Kayla in front of our Pergola, where I can sit and think about the memories I had with both of them, said goodbye to the breeze in May during Covid, at that time. You had to take your dog to the vet if it was going to be euthanized and you couldn’t go inside they would bring your baby out to you, to me that was unacceptable, we found a Vet that we come to your home and take care of the departing of your loved one, the people that run this were awesome, when the vet left, she had tears in her eyes not just for us. She could see how much we didn’t want her baby to leave, but it was the right thing to do, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life and I’ve done a lot of hard things
