No mystery about his bowling, no doosra, no knucle-ball, no carrom ball, just classic offspin with consistent line and length and he's become the greatest Australian Offspin bowler of all time. A classic example of "Practicing the same kick 10,000 times..."An absolute legend of the game...
+Oscar JW I'm not sure but ,if anyone else needs to find out about cricket tips and tricks try Debuncar Play Cricket Aid (just google it ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my work buddy got cool success with it.
Very good&useful tips not only for budding off spinners but also some senior cricketers like me who used to follow the great Erapalli Prasanna&other former off spinners! But I like the wicket taking ability of Nathan Lyon! Thank u Nathan!!👍💐👍💐👍💐👍💐
I find it fascinating that a lot of top offspinners of the last 20 years reject the textbook grip and supposedly conventional approach to offspin. Lyon generates his spin with the wrist, Swann flicked it from between his fingers. Bog standard “unscrew the lightbulb” technique doesn’t work.
As a both hander, at one end I am getting tips from Nathan Lione , Moen Ali and Greme Swan and from the other side I m learning from Shakib, Vettori and jadeja
I think what helped me from this vid was that I few more comfortable with my frisk position ls now because they r pretty much the same as Nathan. And as a right arm off spinner I feel good knowing the same that works for me is the same that work for nathan
@@slingaplaysyt1868 he has better variation, and he also performs well on non spin pitches. I think his stats are a bit better but that's probably because he has been playing slightly longer. this is just my opinion and I think they're both great
