This bird seems perfectly content scratching around for food! Zoos teach about conservation and the many different species we otherwise would never be able to see in person!!!
You can't see it in the video, but he is in a huge open aviary with lots of trees, bushes and terraced levels going upward, as well as a pond. It's a lot better than you can see. There's also quite a few other birds in there.
