One of THE BEST solo releases by a SVT member. 💎 The genre compliments his tone, the lyrics are top notch, & the vocals are subtle yet powerful.

"you, who didn't let go of my hand when i wanted to die. for you, i am one" - i feel like he may have been talking to himself or this could be to carats. the entire song being about him, about how having the two names felt like living two lives, which is something he's been open about since he came off his hiatus in 2020, how he struggled with that so much. various interviews in 2021 he mentioned that s.coups & seungcheol were intertwined now rather than kept separate like he'd always do... when he (s.coups) wanted to die in 2019 you (seungcheol) held his hand, so he learned how to be one... for himself. the carat meaning, the whole song mentions an unspecified "you." considering his personality, this would most likely only be people we are publicly aware of, so carats seem highly likely. we see him as one, i don't think i've seen carats ever really think of him as two people, he is one to us, and when he was in that bad way in 2019, carats were there for him as much as we could be. when he came back in 2020, everyone was overjoyed, it was emotional... in that sense we held his hand during that time and for us, he is one. he learned to intertwine s.coups & seungcheol, he sees himself as one, which is the way we've always seen him.
