This song is pure eng anime op cheese and i LOVE IT--- its also a lot more conected to the entire story as a whole in contrast to other lyric songs weve gotten. The Heritors of Arcadia is a hym of mother milla, the edge of dawn is edelgaurd's song, lost in thoughts all alone is a hym by anankos for corrin and azura... they're all really good, but they only ever focus on one part of the narrative. this really feels like the ENGAGE THEME SONG and represents the story as a whole instead of emphasising one of the parts like previous lyriced songs have

Very intelligent observation. The entire Fire Emblem Engage is a sort of point of no return of the saga ... which marks a conclusion, but also a new beginning. And the song reflects this perfectly!

Honestly, if I didn't know better, I'd think this song was parody or something. I mean, the English renditions for the songs are usually pretty good for the Fire Emblem Series (Fates, Echoes, Three Houses). The singer isn't the best either. Feels pretty low effort by comparison.

Same, however This music is not even to blame, because it is cute. The real fault is Edge of Dawn, it is The best music ever created🤩, it goes beyond perfection and consequently all the other music seems ridiculous compared to it. This is my interpretation: in fact I was quite disappointed after the very high expectations I had coming from the OST of Three Houses😥
