We draw in what we constantly think about. You can’t think defeat and have victory. You can’t think weakness and have strength. Your life is going to follow your thoughts. And instead of thinking these weak, defeated, not able to thoughts, you need to think power thoughts.

It's so crazy but one of the things that healed me is excatly this ! I came across a sermon by Bill Johnson called "God is good". He taught from Psalms 103. That sermon changed my life. It's such a simple concept and yet, in-spite of growing up in a Christian home,I completely missed it!!! This right here!!!!! Praise God!

Whew, Christine's prayer spoke straight to my heart. I have described the pain of years of neglect and emotional abuse from my husband as a gaping wound on my soul that just keeps getting ripped open and I can't survive it. I pray for supernatural healing over my heart and my life. I know God will redeem my life.

The question is being asked here, where do you go when you are rejected? Go to Jesus, He is the only (One) who can help with the pain of our broken heart! He was despised and rejected of man; a man of sorrow acquainted with grief. Marva Simon, with a heart of gratitude for the Almighty, who healed my broken heart after I was rejected by my own father.

Never seen such a lovely, touching and, in my case, more time appropriate needed message. Please pray for every other hurt soul in need of healing out there and me. It's been four years, and it still hurts as yesterday, today I am still being rejected by friends due to that trauma. I do not want to sound silly, but I just need to tell it how it is. God bless you all!.

It is not silly at all in the Lord's eyes to expose your truest feelings before Him and destroy the plan of the enemy, which is to attempt to let you simmer in despair and isolation. You are not alone in the body of Christ, so never feel as though you should be silent. I am praying for you as lead by Jesus and thank you for reaching out.

Been battling rejection my whole life. From a small child when my parents split to now where my [saved] spouse has rejected me over and over again. It's like my spouse keeps watering these deep rooted hurts I've been trying my whole life to heal from, and I feel so abandoned by God during this season. I don't know what will become of my marriage, but I do know that God is using this to ensure that these issues are rooted out of me once and for all so I can finally live the life He's called me to live!

I am facing the same thing, abandonment by my father, who was in and out of my life, addict and abuser to being constantly abandoned, abused and cheated on by my husband. I finally had to stand up for myself and say "No More. I'm a child of God and I can't be treated like this" after so many years of praying and believing for restoration, and he simply doesn't care to honor his vows to me.

Rejection is definitely way worse than death to me. 1. The person didn't choose to leave you, Christ choose to call them to him. 2.The person who has "passed" is hopefully with Christ so in a better place. No more earthly strife, etc. They at peace. 3 The hope of being reunited with them in heaven one day. 4. Rejection feels like the person is saying you're not good enough. Or even worse you're not worth fighting for. That's gut wrenching pain and sometimes it never truly heals. "Makes you feel like you're a throwaway person."

Thank you for this; it helps me to not feel alone in rejection. Means so much! My father also rejected me, and I have tried to have a relationship with him over the years, but he is just mean to me and yells at me. I realized this is so not healthy. In 1988 I chose poorly in my first husband and I realize now that it was as a result of my father's rejection of me. Thank the Lord, He has been healing me over the last 20 years. I have now been happily married to a wonderful Christian man for over 20 years. He is solid, but family around me has also rejected me over COVID. So hard!

Lord Jesus, Let love rain, like sweet mercy from heaven. Let mercy flow like waves and waves flowing richly from the heart of God. May love arise ... may mercy come forth ... may love and mercy bring forth hearts of compassion. Truth, haven’t we all and how many times do they bail and usually leave you with the kids to take care of yourself first I took care of his kids paid all of his Child Support, and then I walked away because he was cheating on me before the ink was dried on our divorce decree he had a new daughter

I’ll be completely honest I’ve pretty much given up on the faith thing. I don’t know that there is a higher power that exists to do something to an individual at 52 years old. I woke up with a headache two weeks after my birthday and I had suffered from migraine since I was 12 so after 40 years of doing this, I knew, it was a migraine however, after like three days of laying in my bed and pain, I called my mother and said take me to the hospital. I need better medication. This isn’t working she took my blood pressure is through the roof. They said give her a blood pressure pill, take her home monitor her blood pressure call us and tell us what it is in X amount of time, and then they’re like it’s still too high taking another blood pressure pill 10 days and then they’re like OK we’re gonna do a CAT scan. We can’t figure anything else by that time I had had massive bilateral strokes and over 200 mini strokes I’m left paralyzed on my left side, my pelvic floor is paralyzed part of my core muscles are paralyzed. I have a 15-year-old son that while I was in the hospital for almost 2 years was left in my home alone. He was 12.

There is no way being rejected is more painful than the death of a spouse. I have experienced both. Death of my spouse is much more painful. Unless you have experienced that, don’t say that.

We need to focus on Jesus, and draw from Him all what we need. Never lean on flesh! Each of us needs to seek Jesus for ourselves. Salvation is personal, Read the Gospels, slowly, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus, the Father to you. We need to seek Him as our First Priority in life. Social comes second.
