Ghost is FUN metal!!! A band to just enjoy. A throwback to when going to a rock concert was a true event and you couldn't wait to tell everyone about it the next day.

Just bought their latest album as I loved what I heard after checking out their music via youtube. I hear elements of maiden, Deff Leppard, Dokken, and others, whilst it has their own traits on top. Love them x. At 46 years of age Ill be honest. Ghost are easily 1 of the most exciting and unpredictable bands of the 21st century. A much bloody needed breath of fresh air. Yeah Ive seen elitists slamming them because they change album 2 album or they dont class them as proper so called metal. Whatever!!! Who gives a shit ? They fucking rock period and are freaking ultra talented. Plus Tobias is sure as hell an enagmatic and humble but always entertaining frontman. Lol Ive checked out soooooooo many so called new metal bands whom bizarrely are embraced by the masses, despite literally sounding like carbon copies of the earlier and existing bands whom inspire them. Christ! 1 sounded like maidens 1st 2 albums. Quite literally with nothing added to make them stand out from any other wannabe band. It bemuses me. I like that ghost dont compromise and do their own thing. Awesome band.🖤

Meliora is a great favourite album, for me it’s that one and Opus eponymous and Infesstisumam. First three albums are my favourites.

Ghosts is everything that ever came before them. Black Sabbath. Alice Cooper. King Diamond. Mercyful Fate. Queen. Metallica. The list goes on and on... Fucking love these guys!

Glad Ghost are where they are They deserve it And the whole are they rock or metal thing is nonsense I'm just glad that they've brought the theatrics and goofiness back to music thats been missing for a long time

I also love it I can't believe how amazing Imperia is i listen to it constantly in my Jeep on the way home lol its got a rocking system . Darkness at the Heart of my Love is just epic.. and Call me little sunshine is heavy and solid. I almost Feel like Ghost is like a Secret guilty pleasure lol..

Just saw Lizzy and the band tonight in Council Bluffs,IA even though everybody was from Omaha and she just blew us all away...wish her setlist was as long as her shows back in March in England..27 songs!! Lizzy needs to play this area more often...please:)

I love Ghost both in concert and on album, and Impera is basically the only album I have played lately. Saw them in concert a couple of weeks ago and loved it! Then just a few days later “Back from the Dead” came out, and has taken over as my newest “obsession”😊

Her top 3 are my top 3 just in a different order. Impera is probably #1 after 200000000 listens.

I agree with all the statements said about Ghost. They are unique in that their sound is familiar from the 80’s but not quite because Tobias Forge adds his own music and catchy lyrics. Sucked me right in with all their albums and blatant satan references which really got me into Iron Maiden The number of the beast album! It’s the combination of both music and lyrics from the person that it feels like they are directly singing to me and I feel it. Impera is such an amazing and catchy album! And I am looking forward to future Ghost albums. ❤️ 👻

I wouldn't call Ghost "heavy metal" more like Rock and Roll and that is definitely not meant as a negative it just is what it is. Alice Cooper, Judis Priest awesome but not Heavy Metal but like Ghost it's Rock and Roll. Maybe Ghost doesn't exactly fit any genre exactly but probably more of a mix between rock and pop I like the music and love the feel and looks of the band and I'm thankful someone is doing it differently but at the same time it's also familiar which there all the better for it.

same "obsession". heard them st time only in Feb 2022 so It's very new but it's very strange... I've never felt that in my entire life ! And I'm almost in my 49's. The songs are "simple", that's not like TOOL songs or something like that... BUT ! I can't keep listen to GHOST every day.. it's a satanic thing, I'm sure ! And the other thing : I wasn't a big fan of the IMPERA album except Call me little sunshine and Hunter's Moon. Now, I like all the songs (except TWENTIES)... really, Tobias is the Devil, I'm sure, 100% !!!

always loved the music and would recommend anyone to see them live atleast once in their life. but I must say I was really disappointed by impera. they started to go in that more stadium rock or hair metal direction on prequelle but there was a lot of experimental and proggy stuff on there which I appreciated. on impera they (or rather "he" because forge does everything by himself now doesn't he?) doubled on on the "radio friendliness" for lack of a better word which I just can't get into. saw them everytime they came into my town starting from 2015 with the old guitarists and even in 2018 when the production value of their shows reached crazy heights. but this year I will for the first time pass on getting tickets because the setlist is very hit and miss for me and idk... this 80s nostalgia trip just isn't for me. I still respect the band a lot and hope they get heavier with the next album! maybe the jouney takes ghost to the 90s next and we get his take on nu/industrial/prog/groove metal or grunge? that would be amazing :D
