Lzzy Hale Talks Six-Inch Heels, All-Black Everything Look for Style Files 

Lzzy Hale of Halestorm is a girl who really, really rocks. From the giant skull ring she says she's just glad hasn't "rusted out her fingers yet" to her all-black wardrobe to her dark maroon lips: she's everything a girl in a rock band is expected to be. She's also goofy, endearing and ready to talk about anything. So we start with why she's wearing pants the majority of the time while she tours in support of Halestorm's new album.
"There's something that happens when I perform in pants versus a dress," Hale says. "You just approach an audience in a different way. I like the toughness that comes with wearing pants and a leather jacket, or even Chuck Taylors. You just feel like all the sudden you're punk rock and you can do anything."
