Traslado de sus restos desde el Cuartel de la 9ª. Compañía de Bomberos de Santiago hasta el Cuartel General, El Voluntario Honorario y Tesorero de la Novena Compañía "Bomba Aniceto Izaga Costa" del Cuerpo de Bomberos de Santiago, Sr. Juan Guillermo Aranda Pizarro (Q.E.P.D.), falleció el domingo 6 de julio de 2008, tras sufrir un infarto durante un acto del servicio al que concurrió su Compañía.
Había salido a cargo de B9 a un llamado estructural en altura alrededor de las 17 horas, en las esquinas de Compañía de Jesús y García Reyes en el centro de la ciudad de Santiago. Tras sufrir el infarto fue socorrido rápidamente por sus compañeros y trasladado con escolta policial hasta un centro asistencial.
Lamentablemente los esfuerzos médicos no lograron revertir su grave condición, falleciendo a las 21:59 horas en el hospital Clínico de la Universidad Católica.

Transfer of its rest from the Quarter of 9ª. Company of Firemen of Santiago until the Headquarters, the Honorary Volunteer and Treasurer of the Ninth Company " Pump Aniceto Izaga Costa" of the Body of Firemen of Santiago, Mr. Juan Guillermo Aranda Pizarro (Q.E.P.D.), passed away Sunday 6 of 2008 July, after having an infarct during an act of the service to which its Company concurred.
He had left in charge of B9 to a structural call in height around the 17 hours, in the corners of Company of Jesus and Garci'a Kings in center of the city of Santiago. After having the infarct he was aided quickly by his companions and transferred with police escort until a welfare center.
Lamentably the medical efforts did not manage to revert their serious condition, passing away to the 21:59 hours in the Clinical hospital of the Catholic University.
