Vielen vielen Dank, Andreas für Dein Lob über das Video. Ich freue mich sehr , dass ich die 2 Loks habe (leider beide aus der selben Version),... und die andere war ja leider Schrott, und bin noch nicht dazu gekommen,... aber vielleicht wird das ja dann doch auch nochmal was werden... Auf alle Fälle vielen Dank für Deinen tollen Kommentar und weiterihn viel Erfolg auf der Suche nach der HR 800!

Danke danke JP, ja , die beiden HR800N sind wirklich 2 Schmuckstücke... bin sehr froh, dass ich die beiden habe und hier sozusagen "digitalisieren" und der Community zeigen kann. Viele Grüße

Moin.... Glückwunsch zu diesem super schönen Teil. Allein schon der Gusstender ist eine Augenweide. Deine Anlage macht aber langsam auch einen sehr guten Eindruck. Weiter so, freue mich schon auf deine nächsten Schätzchen

Danke danke, ja, die HR 800 N ist schon eine tolle Lokomotive,… macht richtig Spaß,… vor allem mit den passenden Wagen,… Und mit der Anlage habe ich noch einiges zu tun,… mir fallen mehr und mehr die Dinge auf, die früher nicht so einfach waren,… aber das macht es ja auch aus,… einfach klasse,… und es mach viel viel Spaß!!! Viele Grüße

indeed, I suppose that the way the locomotive have been produced was pretty similar, as there were not too many different options to chose. All of the manufacturers were still fighting with missing raw materials and in addition, the technology was not yet that much advanced as in the later 50s. Anyway, for me it is really impressing that the "toys" at that time were used as toys and that they still work after 70 years,...

Wow thats s beauty. Look at that paint on the tender: its like its brand new. Dumb question: this ones prewar? Just with the blind middle drive wheels. I guess they went with the witte smoke deflectors when it was retooled for the f800? I have to listen carefully and try to catch words: I got the bit at 5:36 when you mention "beautiful Wagner wind deflectors", which they most definitely are. I was having a look at your layout, trying to do some maths and visuals and I'm estimating its 2.5m long? Beautiful examples anyway. You've made me very enthusiastic on getting an 01: I think an F800 would be more in my range though, which means I'll get a 3048 lol. Always enjoy your videos, but feel free to have longer running times :) Just an add: how does RU-vid run those captions? I can scrape by a little bit on the German, but you've got so much good things to say and I'm just able to get the tiniest amount.

Hello dear American model railway fan.... great to see your comments. And yes, yu are absolutely right, they changed from the Wagner deflectors to the witte deflectors when they shifted from the HR 800 to the F 800. Regarding your other questions: yes, the layout is about 2.6 m long, but only 0.77 m wide, this is why it is not possible for me to use the 3700 tracks to have an additional circle. also the lengths unfortulately does not allow to move the trains to another layer, but I work on a concept. Another reason for not having yet longer runnig times is that with the equipments from that time it is difficult to set the layout on an automatic running with different trains... this is also something I try to work on, but I need the crossings with the blue cables, that you can easily control from contact tracks, but right now many of my railrtoad switches are controlled with a 16v trigger, from the older days... but as I said, working on this as well...

Let me also answer on the captions: I was trying how that could work to have the captions in English and it seems like you need to go to the settings on the video gear wheel, go to subtitles. then go to auto translate and select from German to English.... it should work then... good luck. and btw, also a 3048 is a great machine.... but I have a favour for the 3 digit numbers ;-)

@Modelleisenbahn800 thank you so much for your informative response. I actually really like your layout just as it is. Although we all like to run trains, sometimes it's nice to just focus on one at a time, and your layout is a very good size, you still managed to get 3 tracks in at the station and that great lokschuppen. I am in complete agreement over the 800's. Generally though I can't stretch the budget that far, but I'm perfectly happy if the model is, in essence, a continuation I.e the 3015. Funnily enough, my first 800, a DA BR23, is the one with the plastic body. I don't know if I'm disappointed or not! P.s, I'm actually from NZ living in Australia ;

Hello to Australia,... and sorry to put you on the wrong continent... I thought reg the time delay you might be from the US... sorry therefore. Reg. the DA 800,... I think you can be really happy. The plastic body was the 1st version and they changed that to metal starting from the second version. So, even though it is plastic,... the version is more valuable ;-)

Ja, habe mich hier an Daten aus dem Internet orientiert, als Bruttogehalt im Schnitt,... hierbei gibt es sicherlich regionale Unterschiede, aber ich stimme zu, knapp 4000 € ist schon nicht wenig...
