You picked up on all the best parts of this performance! I love the look between Ethan and Damiano too, the chemistry is unreal. The original song has some wonderful lyrics. It's a toxic love song written by the italian underground 80s punk band. CCCP, some people say it's about the singer's relationship with heroin which he has denied but the lyrics could also be interpreted that way. The song was covered by another artist Gianna Nannini who's version is closer to Måneskin's but still very different. The way Måneskin sing it seems to be as a love song but their version injects so much darkness, drama and passion into the words. I think it's stunning and each live performance of it has so much tension. Definitely one of their best covers.

How amazing is Thomas in this song!! Damiano is obviously good as usual, but here Thomas is just great.

Damiano is singing with the guy who was their judge on their 2017 X Factor Italia contest Manuel Agnelli, in another video of a live performance. This man is the one who gave them begging to do as a cover for their first performance on the contest of a song that was not theirs. So we must thank him forgiven the band the song.
