Måneskin is a rock group from Rome, Italy. The song is a sad fairytale about a young girl who went through a great deal of suffering, and the knight who tries to save her, but sadly fails. This specific performance was enhanced by the addition of the Sanremo orchestra, Damiano, the vocalist, was crying by the end. This was a year after they won Sanremo, and came back as the victors of not just Sanremo, but of the Eurovision Songfestival as well. Followed by breaking through globally. So to be back on that stage, singing while his girlfriend, the girl he wrote the song about, was sitting in the audience.
Måneskin (Danish pronunciation [ˈmɔːnəˌske̝n]) are an Italian rock band formed in Rome in 2016 and composed of Damiano David (vocals), Victoria De Angelis (bass), Thomas Raggi (guitar) and Ethan Torchio (drums). the Danish name Maneskin meaning moonlight was chosen because Victoria's mother is Danish and it was an unknown word in Italy. they started their career playing on the streets of Rome, they are aged between approximately 22 and 25, they are all very young. In 2021, the second album Teatro d'ira - Vol. I was released, containing the song Zitti e Buoni, which allowed the formation to triumph at the 71st edition of the Sanremo Festival and the 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Comunque ho senpre avuto l'impressione che la maggior parte di questi "simpatici personaggi" segua la tendenza del momento, una maniera veloce per avere like e/o iscrizioni. Credo che non facciano nulla di male a parte qualche piccola brutta figura ogni tanto.

@@banamarco Of course it's universal. You can find a part of yourself in any song. But some still don't know Georgia's role in this song and come up with their own theories, although Georgia even has a tattoo of "Coraline" on her shoulder
@@hxcvb630 Yes, true, I just wanted to say that Coraline's story is much more dramatic than Giorgia's, so much so that when the song came out, it was said to be about a girl who killed herself. I think the theme of abuse is dear to Damiano, he also wrote the lyrics to a beautiful song by Mara Sattei (duemilaminuti-Sanremo festival 2023) which tells of an abusive relationship.
@@banamarco I agree that the song sounds a lot more dramatic than Georgia's story, but we can't know what Georgia was really going through. I don't want to devalue Georgia's problems. But to be honest, I was surprised when I found out that the song was about her. Firstly, Georgia does not look like a fragile girl, and secondly, it really seems that someone has died. And as far as I know, Damiano said that "this story has no happy ending," but if you look at Georgia... Didn't she manage and achieve a lot? It makes me a little confused. So yes, your theory may be correct. But then why didn't Damiano tell you about the true meaning of the song? Very confusing 😅 "Coraline" is a very mysterious song. And my favorite one. I would really like to unravel all its meanings. (But maybe it's just that we're trying to complicate things)
