Hi, the song is about a sad but true story of a girl, a friend of Damiano (the singer), who was abused by her father, defined monster in the second verse (as he suggests in the last verse: "She lost the fruit of her womb He has not known love But a father who is nothing of a father ") and who committed suicide (" They told her there is a castle in the city With such powerful walls That if you go to live inside Nothing can hit you anymore "), where the castle is a Roman cemetery, the Verano Monumental Cemetery, called, in fact," the castle "... Damiano the singer who wrote these lyrics says it's a true story, apparently someone he knew, but won't make any other comments. It's said it's a true story about a young girl abused by her father and forced to abortion. The teller is begging her for some time with him, he would do anything to repair her broken heart and mind, but apparently Coraline decided to enter the castle (cemetery) - probably she took her life away. When Damiano writes and sings in Italian the lyrics are more poetic, and when writing and singing in English he’s more of a cheeky provocateur. 😊 I like both sides but I hope they don’t stop writing poetic gems like this in Italian now that they are becoming more and more famous outside Italy and Europe.

The ending is tragic, the story does not end well. Did she end up dead in a cemetery? It is said that Damiano based the lyrics on a true story that did not end well. Made me cry the first time I understood the lyrics.
