Thx. In the studio version on Rush, Vic's bass play is very clear with fast notes. For Europeans the War in Ukraine is a much more serious threat, than most Americans probably sees it, so that goes for Måneskin too. As you pointed out, the lyrics aren't holding back at all. Peace.

I was not referring to the meaning of the lyrics of the song, which although adapting to other wars waged by the West by invading sovereign countries with weapons, was referred exclusively to Russia. Using a double standard in favor of the West whose misdeeds are hidden seems almost hypocritical to me given the use made specifically for propaganda purposes against Russia. Without considering, among other things, that taking part in a war also makes us responsible for the civilian deaths of those we consider our enemies, even if the Europeans and the USA have not been invaded by any Russian. What should we say about the West left to watch 1,500,000 deaths including 500,000 children after 10 years of embargo, 10 years of bombing and radioactive contamination caused by depleted uranium weapons used by Anglo-American forces in Iraq? Were the Maneskins right to take sides in the war, instead of taking sides for Peace? No, they didn't do well, so much so that faced with the 30,000 civilians and 10,000 Palestinian children killed they still haven't reacted with their art as they did against Russia to denounce this massacre.

I don’t want to deny anyone the right to express their point of view. Honestly? I don’t care at all what a musician thinks of such a complex theme as war, where complex dynamics are involved that concern history, traditions, ideologies and strategic relations between states. Reducing such complex issues to the will of individual people is simply childish.

The Maneskin's real problem is that with Gasoline they destroyed their credibility. To put it like Celentano, taking sides in a war is not ROCK! As for music, they know how to do it and technically speaking they make rock music, but that Damiano as a person doesn't convince me, I find him opportunistic, careerist and falsely modest.
