Great, Sid. You have hit the important point: at the beginning the dancer struggles to be able to walk, resists the attempt of the other dancer to move her like a puppet and then they dance together, in perfect harmony with the band. When you read the lyrics you will see that they can be read as a beautiful love song ... and you can also read them knowing that the Marlena who has to come back home is the personification of their inspiration and of the freedom to express it.
be sure to make a reaction to the lyrics! but keep in mind that the song is not about a woman, but about a muse. I also recommend Vent'anni (mv is beautiful and the lyrics are very important) great reaction btw!
I always enjoy your reactions and I agree that they really master the visuals as well as the music! When you read the lyrics, as another commenter said, be aware that "Marlena" in many of the songs on their previous album is a muse. I've heard them describe "Marlena" as a personification of their message of artistic freedom or freedom of expression, and as a single name to represent the four "souls" in the band. On that album it certainly seems that she represents the inspiration that they depend on to keep them alive as artists.
Info from nice Italians: First girl is the band Måneskin. Second girl is "Marlena", the bands muse. With this the video makes total sense. They were teenagers here. This hit made them superstars in Italy in 2018.
This song is amazing..the acustic version is more than amazing..I strongly suggest it to you...it’s by vevo..u can find it everywhere..thanks for your always great reaction..
'Il ballo delle vita' their debut album was a concept album where they talked about the music which is their muse personified under the name Marlena and 'Torna a casa' was the first single. For 'Teatro d'ira'(Theater of anger) the concept was less direct but we can consider that in each songs there is anger in one way or another.
all the songs I've heard so far have beautiful lyrics.. I'll definitely be watching a version of this with English translation.. just wanted to experience the visuals first.. thanks for taking the time to comment ✌️
More that musicians, they’re artists. You say it all. I’m so glad you choose to see the official video because it’s everything. I felt in love with them after watching this. If you consider that they’re just 17-16 when they wrote this masterpiece, it’s more then clean that this band is over the top. Great reaction as always. Go Maneskin!!!❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I agree with everything you say! I'm enjoying your reactions and I like the fact that also you're so much impressed by them as I'm! Fact I'm listening to them all day , all of them are so talented and Damiano is miracle! Greetings from Greece!
This song is so beautiful. I highly recommend checking out the acoustic performance they did of this for vevo. This song is pure poetry. When you read the lyrics what you need to know is that in the first album the character of 'Marlena' is their muse, songs about her are about the band's relationship to inspiration and art itself. They really truly are artists. Marlena- the woman with the red nails- also appears in the song Le Parole Lontane which you could see as being a song connected to this one.
Grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie grazie 🙏 😊 💕
Never heard of them but I’ve made a note and will try to check out some of their songs when I get the chance.. any specific recommendations on where to start? ✌️
