@GregWalkerZzZ : I'm parisian, and I knew way before Inglorious and I absolutely live her. She's an awesome actress and most people I know here think as well. There are haters everywhere, even in France, and the bad comments about her are nothing but jealousy. Also in France, people are stuck on the fact that an actor needs to keep being an actor and can't sing at the same time, thus the apparent hate about her singing but other than that, we all love her very much and she's a recognized actress

Could someone tell me why so many French find her disagreeable? Because Americans really liked her after Inglorious Basterds and Beginners. But for some reason, which I guess has to do with what she was like before becoming famous, many French people don't like her. So can anyone, preferably someone Parisian who knew her before Hollywood kicked in, enlighten me? And btw yeah she's not the most thunderous voice out there, she's 50 pounds for chrissake, but she's an overall great package deal!
