@@marksinn3173 The fans would rather have 1 and a half Vince Neil than 1 John Corabi lol ! I mean seriously these dude were getting fucking wasted for a few decades and they're not gonna sound like " Shout at the Devil " or " Dr. Feelgood " don't know what people expected ! This tour was cursed from the jump ! Tommy broke his ribs , Vince looks not very healthy, Bret Michaels got a fucking backdrop lowered on him and seriously injured...not a good look !
@@lunakat7020 I’m not going to rip a singer at this point in his career because vince in his prime rocked. But damn I really like Corabi w/ these guys! Corabi still kicks ass today!!
Thank you so much for this. Great footage of this band during this unique era. Corabi was a great singer and frontman and that album with him really is an original hard rock album. It wasn't Motley Crue. It was something else and not hating either. I loved them during this time period but was really happy too they got back with Vince in 1997.
Vince is a pathetic piece of crap who had to sue the band in order to get back into it. They were stuck between a rock and a hard place with this lawsuit and the label on their ass to bring Vince back. That one album they did with Corabi blows everything away that they ever did with Vince.
To like the album is ok , but saying its the best Crue album ever not really ! " Shout at the Devil " , " Dr.Feelgood " and " Girls, Girls , Girls " all better ! Corabi just didn't fit the style of the band ! Which isn't a knock on him , it's just how it goes ! Same way Ian Gillian didn't fit Black Sabbath....album was ok , and i actually saw the " Born Again " Tour with Quiet Riot , but it was a one and done albumfor a reason!
Yeah thats a negative bro , it just doesn't work! Like what happened with Sabbath getting another singer and it actually works is rare ! And that only lasted two albums !
funny how Nikki keeps saying he doesn't like the Corabi album. It's one of their best albums. Top 3 IMO. Dr. Feelgood, Shout, an this one. Great sound, great songwriting, great vocalist. I've been a Crüe fan since I was six years old and I absolutely love it.
@@Nicoledolly0620 Don't forget to get the app that shows you where all the piles of human excrement are. And don't wear sandals. You could get poked in a toe by a used needle.
Wouldn’t work. They were used to using huge production budgets and stadium size audience..... best thing in going with a new name was to scale down production budget and low expectations for concerts.... probably even whiskey a go size...
@@nasscmw which they ended up doing anyway since nobody wanted to see Motley without Vince and this happening during the grunge era made it even worse. But at that point in time it was hard for them to see it because, even though those were the mid nineties, the last tour and album they did was huge, they didn't realize that those were different times.
And do shows to empty arenas? No one was interested, grunge was in hair metal was out of favour. Motley was a business more than a band, run by huge egos. John just didn't fit the mould. Great musician. Just not for Motley.
@@motleydude73 he was great, it's just something about the 4 - that it factor 😉, They had it. Vince has lost his voice and looks....maybe they shouldn't have come out of retirement...
Well he’s a pig like has a young girlfriend there like dude she’s just there to take your money and get a payday once your gone. He’s all messed up he walks and acts like he’s elderly because of his condition. The guy needs to be with someone his own age. Don’t have be a homophobe and racist. These guys just can’t ever shut their mouths, think they’re cool by saying things like that

All this negativity cracks me up. This is when they were just enjoying music, and life. You know damn well fame and fortune will take it's toll. Hey they made it no doubt it's fact. Years ago when my son was 14, I took him to his first concert Motley Crue and Megadeth, I know damn well he was lovin' every minute of it.
Mick's tone is incredible in these rehearsals. I now know why. That stack of SLO-100 Soldano heads back there is why. I always thought he used and ran Marshall's exclusively. Now I did hear there were certain "guitarists" that would use Marshall enclosures with Soldano SLO guts.
rumor has it Mick uses a combination of Soldano Slo 100s and Rivera Boneheads fed in to crest 4601 power amps through Marshall cabs with celestion vintage 30's live. (it's a pretty reliable rumor)
I've been a fan of Motley since I was 9 in '85. I was a Senior in '94 and this record rocked our entire Summer. Still my favorite Crue album. What a time to be alive.
TOMMY IS DEFINITELY THE DRIVE BEHIND THIS BAND...EVEN IN PRACTICE HE GROOVES, BOBS HIS HEAD, BASICALLY DANCES WHILE DRUMMING..IM A DRUMMER AND HES MY BIGGEST INFLUENCE..KEEP ROCKIN T-BONE
I'd Rather See. Early "MOTLEY" back in 1982-1984. Pro Shot Live Stuff..Just put a compilation Video together. Show a few Songs from "Too Fast", "Shout" & Maybe "Theatre"....Look at the "Home Sweet Home" Video, It's all Pro Shot Live Footage. Looks Great..I Used to Love "MOTLEY"...I Miss Them😦...🤟🔥🤟

Funny how much These videos get recycled I mean I saw this thing on RU-vid 6 years ago Here it is uploaded three months ago and it’s already got 14 something views
Hmm? 🤔 We can all agree Vince can't sing, he never could...Mick is good, nothing special, Sixx is average at best, Tommy is adequate....funny, Nikki's best two songs were written for other bands, Lita Ford and Sixx A.M. (my point is as far as musicians go, they weren't "great", the just had the right look at the right time when MTV could really shape your fan base
@@thegrimspeaker8987 I compare every guitarist to George Lynch, Randy Rhoades, and Eddie Van Halen, my three favorites, perhaps Mick falls in the next tier with Slash, Steve Vai, or maybe Zack Wylde.....I saw Guns & Roses here in Boston, Axl surprised me, although kind of pudgy and bloated he still hit most of the notes without changing the key.....if you ever get bored and have an hour or so, Vixen live Cologne, Germany 1991....believe it or not in the middle of the set, they all do a solo, actually very good musicians, bass player graduated from Berklee, vocalist, Jan is one of THE best singers live, sadly, she is presently touring and lost some power (getting old sucks) my last two concerts were both Halestorm, Lzzy is the best vocalist alive today 🔥🔥🔥💰🤑
I think like the very early stages or their 40s of any rockstar is the best times of their lives and they look the best. They look great at 20,shit at 30 and great at 40 🤣
@@ryanfulldark2775 I'm always intrigued by these types of comments as the Corabi album sounds "nothing like Motley Crue!" and I'm left wondering if the people that write them were fans of the Crue prior to the album?...
@@dgenerated Most definitely! People have the ability to delineate and then enjoy both. 👍 It was a killer record, frickin rocked, amazing tone across the board. Real meaningful lyrics, along with that gritty, dusky vocal talent of Corabi. They took the tongue out of the cheek for a minute and tried to push the limits musically. Did they begin this with Feelgood? Of course.
Nikki Sixx is the biggest, geekiest wanna-be X heroin addict I've ever seen in the mainstream. The guy wrote a book on how he was so "strung-out" on heroin. But it isn't true because there have been many that said so. In hindsight, most realise, that was an excuse for attention; and just simply a subject that would dominate his silly "heroin diary" book. which is 50% fiction and 50% actual. You can argue if you want to....but that's the truth. Nikki dabbled with heroin at best. But he never was a full-blown addict. Period. And anybody who was a full-blown heroin addict, like myself; understands this.
I actually saw them in Atlanta on July 4th, 1994 on this tour. I’ve seen the Crue many times over the years, but this version was the best I’d ever heard them sound. Incredible and solid album from start to finish!
Should’ve changed the name of the band, didn’t make sense to carry on the old baggage of the past. Think the album would’ve been better received. Tommy was friends with the Pantera guys during this time, Far Beyond Driven came out same month as this disc, they could’ve opened for Pantera. Would’ve been unreal.
