M. Bison, Geese Howard, Shao Kahn and Heihachi Mishima are the fighting game villains who just won't stay dead. They keep coming back like cockroaches.
@@DasSpaceAce Akuma is certainly the most powerful and badass character (in my opinion) he isn’t exactly evil like M. Bison despite giving up his humanity to the Satsu Na Hado (hope that’s spelt correctly). Akuma stopped fighting Gen when he found out he had cancer as he saw that as an unfair advantage to himself where as Bison would of killed anyway, Akuma is looking for the ultimate fight but is not willing to fight if he sees an unfair advantage in his favour he wants his opponents to be at their best when he fights them so he won’t pick on the weak where as M. Bison doesn’t care and kind of gets off from destroying the weak! M. Bison wants to rule the world and doesn’t care who he has to kill to achieve his goal! The old, sick and children are all his hit list if needs be that’s why he is easily the most evil character in the Street Fighter franchise and no one comes close to his evilness he’s the Adolf Hitler of the Street Fighter franchise where as Akuma still has certain morals he upholds when fighting, yes he will not think twice about killing his opponent in a fight if they’re strong like Ryu, Sagat or M. Bison himself
Fu fact about the actor for the live action movie, he had cancer if I remember and knew he was dying soon and was making the video so when his daughter grew up,, she would forever be able to se him as this larger then life being. Supposedly he came in everyday with an extremely bright personality , hamming up every scene and enjoying every moment of the experience...he was a really really good father...
Raoul Julia. Excellent actor. People were surprised he took this role given his acting chomps. He did this movie specifically for his kids. M. Bison's insane speeches are still the best thing about that movie. It's just a joy to see Raoul pull out his acting talent for a role nobody expected anyone to put this much effort into.
I feel like what you said is both an understatement and an overstatement. But I guess you thought someone reading your message didn't know who M Bison was, but everyone who has played Street fighter knows who M Bison is. So basically you said the most obvious thing you could have....of course hes the most iconic, hes been in every street fighter and was the original enemy, so hes the most Iconic even when Akuma is the main boss...its so obvious, you can't say the same about anyone else in the series...even the good side has so many good people there isn't any ONE that is more Iconic, but again....that isn't the same for the bad guy side
It is nice to hear a reference to the anime Doomed Megalopolis. It was one of my first, growing up in the 90s. Later when SvC chaos from SNK came out. I liked Bisons obsession with Iori. For his body. His own vassal. Decaying from his power. To think. Not only having Psycho power. But also the strength of Orochi! 🤯
I can't believe you didn't mention M. Bison's cameo in the Disney animated movie "Wreck-It Ralph", especially since quite a few other Street Fighter characters were able to appear in the movie as well as the sequel "Ralph Breaks The Internet".
We all know that the 3 SF2 boss characters’s names were switched around from the Japanese version. Now before Akuma came into the franchise Vega (Balrog in Japan, but I’m English so it’s Vega) was my favourite character and in my opinion the creators at Capcom should have named Vega, Vega in the Japanese version as well as the rest of the world as the character is a Spanish ninja with bullfighting/matador training and Vega is a Spanish name. So it only makes sense the Spanish character should have a Spanish name it’s like Ryu having a Japanese name, now if Ryu was called Rodney people would think that’s weird name for a Japanese man and the name doesn’t fit the character
It's funny to me that they say that Bison is one of the greatest martial artists but in the games literally none of his moves looks like actual martial arts to me. Am I wrong??
The road not taken. But why? Why do they still call me a warlord? And mad? All I want to do is to create the perfect genetic soldier! Not for power, not for evil, but for good. Carlos Blanka will be the first of many - they shall march out of my laboratory and sweep away every adversary, every creed, every nation, until the very planet is in the loving grip of the Pax Bisonica. And then peace will reign, and the world, and all humanity, shall bow to me in humble gratitude...
Wait. Did the story between Ryu and Bison seriously have the CORPSE of Ryu brainwashed? O.o lol I mean I'm all here for it knowing that's not even the wildest of fantastical aspects of the Street Fighter universe, but I had just never heard about that part within the series lol
This whole thing has me completely bummed out. Street Fighter 2 was brand new when I was growing up, and Guile was one of the big main characters with a huge personal vendetta against M. Bison. While I've never been good at fighting games at all, I liked Guile the best of all the characters. Now, it seems like he's been relegated to a useless police officer for some reason? He was a military (Air Force) man, why is he now a dorky cop? And Charlie was just some dweeb that got himself killed fighting M. Bison and Guile was out to avenge him. Listening to this history, it seems that now Guile is just a foot note in Street Fighter history and Charlie is a big main character. Bring back respect to Guile's name, dang it!!
If the game version of M.Bison is a Male Siberian Tiger than the live action film with Jean Claude Van Damme version of M.Bison is 5 minutes old Persian domestic kittens. The casting of M.Bison in that film was so piss poor Raul Julia looked like he was suffering from cancer or AIDS as he looked so sick (sick as in ill not sick as in awesome) in the film. They needed to cast someone who looked intimidating with a muscular body who looked like they could fight giving you that badass boss feel (though JCVD probably didn’t want anyone looking more muscular than him and had it written into his contract for doing the film. JCVD: “Who have you cast as the villains I must fight?” Director: “Raul Julia as M.Bison & Danny DeVito as Sagat” JCVD: ”Great now where’s my cocaine?”).
The whole movie had piss poor direction from the get go, Raul Julia, wasn't one of them, made him the coolest dad ever. Wasn't it funded in part BY Raul since he was going to die and without him it wouldn't have been made? Not directly as he still go paid for it, which he donated to charity if I am not mistaken.... The direction they took it was horrible, instead of a street fight story it was basically a military movie. Jean Claude was horrible, so was who ever did Chun Li, but it was the 90s and the big names of today were either not around or they sucked too. People thought Jean Claude was gonna be such a big movie star, now hes just slightly better than Steven Seagal. Now Van Dam is what, 5'10 and Julia was 6'2, Bison is what, almost a foot taller than Guile? But you think he should have been more muscular and not portray their height accurately. The suit made him look as strong as Bison in the games. Reading your run on sentences is hurting my head, so hopefully I hit every topical point you made...Its a good thing people like you don't make movies, you sound like Vince McMahon, they gotta be muscular! when have you ever seen bison with a crap ton of muscles, I think you're thinking of Zangief and not Bison, look at the 2 from the first game...now Balrog and Bison....Bison isn't very muscular compared to those who actually have muscles in the game.... but something in your head cannon says hes as big as Zangief -_- right?
@@ravinraven6913Bison had many different bodies. One of his bodies which was used during the alpha time was extremely muscular. I do prefer the Bison bodies that are seeker seems to be more suited to his character.
Wow. I cringed when you pronounced the name Yasunori Kato as "Yasunowrey Keitow". You could have added a "Yeeeeehawww" at the end and it would have been the perfect Texan accent.
Who would be a good real life actor for this character if we ever get another live action street fighter movie? I’m gonna go with Arnold Schwarzenegger or The Rock.
I think both would be horrible, Bison is charismatic but hes obviously evil. Even as black Adom, Dwayne Johnson(why do you call Arnold by his real name but you use Dwayne's stage name?) Comes off as too nice. Try Silvester Stallone, I wouldn't mind Michal Douglas lol or how about Ellen Disingenuous LOL
@@austinforgie1069 he was good in Stargate atlantis as a uncivilized....wait thats the same character hes playing in ever movie, dude can't act, hes good as a tribal warrior(better than that one lame wrestler) but Jason M Should retire....or play Blonka yea Blonka
Fen Shoe-e? you Brits take way too many liberties...with pronunciation, you guys just say things how you want to and not how they are actually pronounced eh? how is it that there are so many different ways to say the same word on one street block? Didn't anyone say that's not how you speak English? Nice Content, but I always wondered why there are such extreme accents over there when its not in our language to make those accents? like Australian pronunciation of Girl, is Gail, Some in England is Gurl or Gaurl...where in the English language do we have accent marks of any sort? Sounds like the Brits are destroying the English Language more than the people from the States. But at least Cockney is on purpose, great way to confuse people.
