I was kinda pissed that Iturrizaga would never play e5. Was there a reason for it? It was a good defense option when Carlsen trhew that bishop to the center.
+İbrahim Can KÖLGEKAYA he gave a check to the king...next move was promotion to Queen... magnus with 2 Queens was gonna win either way....Hence resignation was the only option
+Maruf Sarkar The word god doesnt mean shit son. You give it value. He doesnt care about it so he can call whatever and whoever he wants god. it would be direspectful to you cause you have a definition for god in your belief system, he does not. So yea Carlesn = GOD. So what im not saying hes your God idiot. Learn to think logically about your Bullshit beliefs before you try to post on the Internet. And that IS an insult to you by the way.
I dont have a personal definition. I can google if for you if you want. Thats the definition ill give you. I believe that some how we were created and if thats what you want to call a god then so be it. But anything that is about a religion or a bible book from any country is utter bullshit because absolutely none of it can be proven. I dont believe in heaven or hell or anything you might know about religion. It couldve been a person, we couldve been evolutionized, we couldve popped out of no where. How do we know right? So instead i dont waste my time like ignorant people who just need something to argue and take their religious beliefa to heart as if they knew it was true. Its like if I told you what if there is tornado and if jump in it youll get Teleported to a different planet, well theres no way dissapprove that so it must be true, youre probably going to say "thats fucking stupid", yea thats what peoples blind beliefs sound like, fucking stupid.
Well we could give Iturrizaga a little credit just for lasting 48 moves vs the invincible Magnus Carlsen since, after 11.Be3 Magnus had the identical position as Black and lost quickly with ...a6 (instead of ...a5) then after 12.Rc1 Nd7 13.Qe2 b5 14.b4 Ne5 15.cxb5 axb5 16.Nxb5 Bxb5 17.Qxb5 Qb8 18.a4 Qxb5 19.axb5 Rfb8 20.b6 Ng4? 21.b7 Carlsen resigned (since White would've been winning the after then probably ...Rxb7 22.e5 Rbb8 23.Bxa8, Etc.) but, that was when Carlsen was "very" young back in 2004, Reykjavik Blitz, Round 10, 1-0 and unfortunately for Magnus he was playing um ...Kasparov (Yikes!). Carlsen has really put everything together in a very short time and who can even possibly compete with Carlsen for the World Championship anymore? Magnus is just "way" too strong now (as this game is another perfect example of) and I see no one taking the title from him for as long as he wants to remain the World Champion. I have to agree with Alberturkey54 - This game was over when Magnus played d4.
+Daniel Furfaro But Itzurraga is in check. And when Carlsen moves Qe6. Qb7 would be met by Qxe7* losing another pawn by black. Or am I missing something there?
