I first came across this piece in a CD recording of the organ at St Eustache. It’s a thrilling piece, which deserves to be better known. The final chords are epic! Some people take this piece to fast (I think I play it too slowly) but your tempo is spot on. A fantastic performance. Bravo!

About the tempo: I have a feeling, that a slower tempo would fit better to the piece, but in the video I wanted to adhere to the tempo assigned by Duruflé. I think as a listener, the harmonies are much better recognisable and enjoyable if it's played slower and more relaxed.
