YESTERDAY TRIED FRESH CITRUS AND MOSS WHICH IS ONE OF THE BEST PRODUCT. ITS LEMONY VERBENA NOTE IN OPENING REMINDS ME OF TATAS EAU DE COLOGNE INDIA IN THE BASE NOTE ON TEST STRIP I NOTIVED THE SMELL OF YSL KUROUS. I THINK IT HAS MUCH BETTER PROJECTION AND LONGEVITY.
Hi Paul, when you get chance if you haven't already, check out their Provenance range, specifically "Amongst the Orange Groves". It beautiful and it became my wife's signature scent this summer. Imaging you're on holiday in the med, somewhere hot like Spain or Greece and you're out walking. You pass just a bunch of trees and such and you get that familiar hot vegetation smell. So we get the leaves, the wood of the trunk and branches, the heat bouncing off the earth! And of course those oranges! Incredible. Unisex in my opinion as well. The "Under the Palm Trees" is also a nice coconut fragrance but not as good as Orange Groves. The other two are just out of the shower skin scents.

This wasn’t the set that has Seasalt and Neroli? I heard good things about that one with people even comparing it to Jo Malone’s Wood Sage and sea salt. Do you own Seasalt and Neroli by M&S? If so how is it?
He only reviewed the mainly men’s line, although I’ve had every single one and none stand out as just male or female, they All have unisex qualities, sea salt and neroli is very nice and very similar but slightly sweeter

I was in M&S the other day and I tested some of them. I really like the Soft Bergamot & Musk but as you said it is a weak one. I hope you can recommend a similar fragrance with better performance please?
I'm pretty sure it's an Aventus clone. I highly recommend 'Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Man Pure Parfum' as a very similar fragrance with excellent longevity.
From the regular discover set my favourite was Spiced Amber. Wild Amber and Mandarin is a Sauvage clone - has a lovely opening. I think Soft Bergamot and Musk is supposed to be an Aventus clone. Blue Samphire and Cassis is quite a nice Bleu de Chanel clone. However, the G. Bellini Sauvage and BDC clones from Lidl are both better. Fresh Citrus and Moss is kinda weird.
Some better than others. None are beast longevity but some have above average projection and sillage imo. My favourite is also cool vetiver that I bought it but really doesn't last long even if I over spray. Reveiws on m&s about them are quite accurate
These are the only ones I wear decent sized cheap and good scents and I don’t normally like buying smellies I’m just usually a doegrant and body spray person rather than perfumes
I understand that they're cheap and not designed to last all day, but I do wonder how useful a fragrance is if you need it on your person at all times in order to smell nice.
Oh they're useful. What if you need a fragrance to last only a few hours? Fresh out of the shower in the evening, only a few hours until bed time. A date? Plenty of options.
That Soft Iris caught my eye as that last image was panning... Appreciate this Paul. Did I miss the bit about the longevity? I'd imagine a pretty standard 4-5h for the lot?
