Hi Becky - I worked at M & S in the 80's & looking back now I realise how fortunate & rewarded staff were - We had our own hairdresser this enabled us to look smart & well groomed when on the shop floor - We had also access to a private doctor / A team of catering staff took care of breaks & lunches in which we ate the delicious M & S food, but the "icing on the cake" was at the end of the day all out of date items or items that was near to the sell by date were offered to staff at half price or less / the outcome of this generosity was that my children had M & S food in their school lunch boxes - My husband also had M & S sandwiches for his lunch-pack-up - & you can imagine the teasing he got for his posh sandwiches - (if only they knew) I was also very fortunate to be able to buy clothing for all the family with the staff discount. OH THOSE WERE THE DAYS - I imagine things have changed now - I just thought that this info might interest you & your viewers

I think M&S have the best instore bakery and cake selection by far! They do a Red Leicester cob (delish warm with soup) and a scrumptious rustic cranberry and pecan bread. Cakey faves include the mini lemon loaves with the tangy lemon buttercream, Tiffin and the triple chocolate muffins. It's good to see the chocolate hot cross buns have returned for another year.

Love the video as always.I use the essentials red box tea bags,they are excellent.Also I get the "3 for £8 mix ,but just get the cooked half chicken,they freeze as ,so always got chicken available,as I'm trying to cut down on red meat,due to cholesterol problems.x

I eat the Mexicana cheese from Sainsburys, its like cheddar, red Leicester, gloscester and chilli. It has a nice spice. Apple Crumble yogurt sounds awesome. I like the Muller apple one.

Great haul. M&S have lovely treats ! Have you tried the mini rice cakes with dark chocolate ? They come in a pack of 5 small bags - they are gorgeous ! Love the dresses too. 😊

I love watching your food vids because most of what you have access to we don't have here in the states. For instance, I doubt anyone here in Tampa would know what black pudding is and if they did, would never eat it. Just one of the differences between our countries.
