Dear Amit Sir, You should add Required computational Skills like Knowledge in Software & Programming which is most important so here it is C, C++, Java, R, MATLAB, Perl, Bash, Python, Galaxy. Linux and UNIX sysadmin skills are kind of mandatory. Knowledge of UNIX is enormously beneficial in bioinformatics. You should be also familiar with Machine learning tools and libraries such as Mllib and Scikit-Learn in python #SNTiwaribaba

@@radhikasaxena7973 Hey many colleges are providing bioinformatics as a course but what we need to check is whether that particular college has a strong bioinformatics department and lab. Because most of the core papers in bioinformatics deals with programming and algorithms. This is not a well explored subject in our country.So an immediate career in bioinformatics is lil bit tough but it's having great scope. Amity University, IISC Bangalore are some best choice.Try to find such reputed institution with eminent professors. All the best.
