I gotta say, when the rev died, the world lost one of the best drummers of all time. I bet that guy that he knocked the groceries out of his hand is now, saying to anyone who will listen ," jimmy "the rev" Sullivan did a handstand and knocked my groceries out of my hand!!! yesss! "

I'm so happy they kept touring. I just saw them in concert 2 days ago and it was amazing. They still keep Jimmy alive even though he's no there anymore. You can tell how close they all are and were to him.
I miss him but I know the feeling of losing someone so close and loved..he was such a talented drummer and I'm much older than y'all and yes been a fan since day 1 keep your heads up and make him happy by making good music.
I can't wait to go to heaven to see jimmy riding a stallion duck. Drinking some bear and playing the drums. Then him rolling around then him greeting me. Then us rocking out together until the end of time... I miss you Jimmy...
Aw the story about Jimmy doing a hand stand on the subway made me laugh. He'll be with the guys always. I'm glad Shadows spoke about the Nightmare album hard to listen to, because I have always found it hard to listen to been it Jimmy's last work on earth. He was truly one in a million. FoREVer.
i was close to tears watching this you could see how hard it actually is for matt to talk about jimmy awww he had tears in his eyes and everything... it just broke my heart watching him struggle
It must be really hard for him when every interviewer asks him about his dead best friend... :( I can't imagine being able to talk about my best friend, if she passed away, like that, I don't even want to imagine it. I really respect Matt for that.
I know its a late reply but we need to start supporting their new drummer. He will never replace the rev and he knows it!(he said it himself and he is a HUGE Rev fan) He is part of the A7X family, and we gotta show love for him like we do to everyone in or that was is A7X
he smiles because the rev was the most awesome human being ever. he smiles whilst talking about him because all the rev did in life was bring happiness and joy to peoples lives. why cry when we can smile and laugh about how amazing he was.
it was all about brothers not being in a band "R.I.P THE REV" . i went to this tour and it was fantastic. he'd have been really proud cos it was great and it was great when they did they're tribute to the rev

If they didn't make that album I never would have known who they are. I never would have taken up playing guitar again. And in the future you guys would have never known the upcoming artists my friends and I are trying to achieve. Sorry if that was douchey, but they inspired me to become who I am today. My life would have been so boring and dull without them around. Thank you Avenged Sevenfold!

Avenged died after the Rev. The last cd that was good was nightmare and it was bc he created the drums for it (even though Mike Portnoy played it). After that, their music was missing a huge part of it.
I feel so bad for Matt and everybody else...Another story was when Matt, Val (Matt's wife), and Jimmy were in a bar and some guy was being rude to Val and Jimmy literally jumps over Val and punchs the rude guy in the face...XD
I am giving the new drummer a chance. I adore Arin and I couldnt be more happy that the boys are happy and touring again. If I meet him one time I will thank him over and over again for being there for them. He's the best thing thats happened to them in a long time. I'm very greatful... Some people give him hate, they're just not ready to let go of The Rev I suppose....

this sucks , lost your friend , brother of all time bandmate it just sucks i love nightmare they show us how they tribute to jimmy , he'll be forever in our hearts but it's just sad as fuck , making a record and then your best friend pass away , they´re strong , i love this band and i will always remember Jimmy
@Adrianna Vincent He got his prescription medication for his heart and took then went out drinking got drunk came back and thought he hadn't taken them yet so he took more and died of an accidental overdose. R.I.P. JIMMY foREVer.
@MrSimpleDesign hopefully things are gettin better for them... i think it is... :/ and i REALLY hope they keep going... as long as we stay fans the Rev's memory will always be there.. :) and i know for a fact that anyone who know him will never forget him :)
@jslost89 He lost his brother, he was fucking devistaed. But what would happen if he fucking broke down in an interview! He is staying strong like Jimmy would want, he's talking about his brother Jimmy and remembering the good times not his death, he's happy he has those times he can remember.
