Note: This was done as a "music video" where I´m playing back to my own recording, hence the bit of sync issues before the steady tempo kicks in...

First, thank you very much for your kind words! I´m currently working on a TAB, but there´s a lot of notes to transcribe... Funny you should mention Foggy Mountain... That was the first song I tried using these "banjo rolls for guitar". Maybe I´ll post a version of it. Thanks again! Martin

Thanks! Standard tuning on this one, for Jesse James an open E with a capo on 3rd fret, on Foggy Mountain Breakdown a standard tuning but with a dropped A-string (to G).

This is one of my favorite videos on RU-vid I keep coming back to listen to it over and over...I have seen some good guitarists but this guy is truly amazing! Hello, thanks for the appreciation. I´ve been playing on and off for almost 30 years (!), but of course it´s been a variety of styles. I started using a thumb pick around 1998 or so and played a lot of (electric) country style. I also tried some 5-string banjo and that´s when I came up with the idea for banjo rolls on guitar. If you can find a good teacher it can help speed up the process, I guess. Oh, and about speed, I can only play this if I´m warmed up. Good luck! Martin

This is a musical masterpiece! I keep on re-visiting this video. This is the best piece of guitar playing I have heard in years.
