Best guidance to follow. Sir was very good with dramatics. I wish I could have topped my class. But seriously, in Mtech people have to have PORs on CV for good placements. And try to be in good books of, atleast, your guide and subject coordinators

1) Maintain good pointer ( CGPA) especially in first Two semesters. 2) Position of responsibility in Extracurricular activities 3) Atleast one Research paper during Mtech and have a good rapport with ur Profesor ( if you are planning for research/ PhD) 4) Ofcourse , Prepare for placements. Welcome

Sir ye DAAD scholarship ke baare ho sake to thoda practical idea chahiye.. yourpedia me dekha tha video, they gave a brief idea about it, but then i want to know, like how to prepare from the first day for it?? kya kya karna chahiye jisse mera chances badhe.. and also the detailed procedure how to get it. jaise ki apne bataya, ki topper hona hota h.. ye compulsory h kya?? Yes ICT does have good record! And IIT M and G both have good overall placements i would say choose IITg coz IIT adds more value and M-Tech will be better of than MS

Great points bhayya. I have two questions. Please answer me🙏. This time around the first two semesters are online right, we will be missing those clubs and leadership opportunities. Or is there any other way? I got IIT Bombay electronics systems. My friends there are talking about the competition in electrical engineering branch and they feel that it is difficult to get placed with such competition. So my question is do I have to consider this competition for placements and go to another IIT(if I get in the 5th round)? Or should I stay in Bombay considering the fact that I like this branch and feel comfortable with it? Please tell me what should I do? Edit: when I say competition i mean there is extra strength in EE branch around 140 where as in other IITs it is around 70.

I did one mistake too, not getting in touch with placement cell soon, I was about to get in touch them during the end of second sem but then the pandemic happened. In the end they cancelled placements for mtech students

So was in worry should i give gate once again or not for mtech in iit's. Because during mtech i will turn 30 yrs old due to which i was in worry.

But May be you can choose, Warangal and Durgapur over Mandi! Btw, I dont understand Bangla! I took help from my wife, who has stayed in Kharagpur for two years! but it wasnt diffcult! :D

Hi Abhijeet, I am quite surprised that they are considering Chem engineers, but if they do that means they have some opportunities as M-Tech and PhD projects for chem engineers. The process part (Heat exchange, Exergy etc will be from Chemical) Placements will be fine since companies wont care a lot what your B-Tech specialization was as long as you perform well in M-Tech. also you can choose courses from Chemical engineering department to make it easy for you. so Dont worry even if you select this branch!

I mean whether the placement companies have any reservations towards the age of candidate while selecting them or do they focus on candidate's talent and skill only. Please answer my query based on your observation. It really would be very helpful for me as my decision will be based on that.

Hello sir, thank you for this video, it's very informative.Sir, I got a chance in iit kanpur(hydraulics and water resource) which is basically in civil department,but my background is agriculture engg.so sir do you have any idea about how much tough is it going to be to compete there being an interdisciplinary student and also how should I prepare myself for that reason?also I want to know about the placement scenario of that branch...thank you in advance😇

Interdisciplinary courses have more spread of knowldege than the depth. And that is why you need not worry about tough courses but more variaed knowledge. Dont worry you can cope up with it!

Sir got thermal engineering at IIT madras. How should I start studying research papers? Could you point out some journals. Being a mechanical engineer kya softwares aane chahiye? That'll help me during the long run. Skill set kya hona chaiye.?? And mtech m jaane se phle kya prerequisites hone chahiye mere bag m. So that meri mtech ki journey aasan aur interesting ho.

Well, No. But The placement opportunities overall don't match the rest of the branches , although there is no problem just because you are from Zoology
