It's obvious from the applause that the audience thoroughly enjoyed the performance. I played the piece as an undergraduate, though not as cleanly as Fuchs. He may have been suffering from jet-lag that day, which might explain the very minor lapses. Nevertheless, his dynamic control is excellent & his phrasing is beautiful.
Very easy to criticise Jorge - but not so easy to stand there and produce the performance especially with a busy schedule with one of the world's greatest orchestras; one has to understand the pressures of a top professional to appreciate how tiring the life is - much better to appreciate all the good things in this performance. I love the energy and the musicality, Wenzel is a great player to listen to - I used to play this concerto all the time from the age of eleven years old and still love the piece ! Wenzel is never boring ! Better to have a few slips than a boring performance.
지랄한다 어떤 미친놈이 몇천씩 주고 와서 똥 싸주세요 했겠냐 저건 관객을 개무시하는 처사지 하여튼 클래식하는 놈들 음악듣는 귀도없고 프로 정신도 없고 그저 돈돈돈 하고 지 좀 이름있으면 전날에 술이나쳐마시고 연주 개ㅈ같이하고 대충 돈이나 벌어가니 조금이라도 음악 들을줄 아는사람들은 저 연주에 쌩돈주고 갔다가 개쓰레기같은 연주 ㅈ같아서 다음부턴 안들으러가는거 그러니 원래도 안듣는 클래식음악계가 씹창이 안나고배기나

Frankly, I would have expected a lot better from a Berlin Philharmonic principal clarinet. The piece isn't that hard - any competent conservatory clarinetist can get all the notes. He makes a bit of a hash of the last page and takes a few "shortcuts" that may not be noticeable to non-clarinetists.
Always rushing, dirty passages and what about articulation???, however one of the most beautiful sounds of all the times, the sonority is incredible, what a shame the excessive rubato in the first 2 movements...ah, and I like the conductor very much...
Joder, siempre corriendo, muchos pasajes sucios, ¿¿¿articulación????...sin embargo uno de los sonidos mas bellos de todos los tiempos, la sonoridad es increible, lastima el exceso de rubato en los dos primeros movimientos...
