QB as you started posting master class series, I started playing those tank, and as I played those tanks you have posted on master class series, this increased my win rate by almost 5 to 10 percent which was previously 52 percent and now it is almost 60. Thanks a lot and I hope you post more of these series.
I don't know if it's just me, but I have been watching this man's videos for 7+ years and I have too say thank you will. What you have done for the world of tanks community is absolutely outstanding. I would very much just like too see you post a random game play for RU-vid as you are a hero and commander too so many of us world of tanks players, an I would genuinely just like too say thank you for the time and effort you put into all your content after so many years. Whilst still having such a passion for the game and never giving up on the tanks and game itself and I feel like wargamming owes you a choice of tank that you yourself would like too have in the game. Kind regards a multiple year long subscriber and fan. If they ain't red they ain't dead
Yeah, that is why there are so many shit players, because they listen to this egotistical narcissist. But it is good for the good players, we have lots of food to farm.
thank you QB for showcasing another tank in the master class series!! We would greatly appreciate if you updated your master class playlist in your channel. I find myself coming back over and over again to these videos, and having them compiled into a playlist would be super nice!
Funnily enough earlier today I watched other of your videos about the M-V-Y, the tank review and the "MY KIND OF TANK" video. The timing to upload this video is just hilarious to me 😂
Easily my fav T10. The ROF is so good, the armour is reliable, mobility is great, and it just mops up in the late game. It does struggle against beefy bois tho
I love the M-V-Y but it has its problems which is good. However, I do feel that the 105 needs slightly better gun handling. Being 25% worse than a super C with a gun that has 10% less damage doesn’t make sense to me so giving it that little extra gun handling will make the tank feel less derpy for the gun that it has. Also I’d recommend the experimental hardening as the fuel tanks seem to be quite bad on this especially when hit from the side
I actually prefer bigger guns on Yoh heavies. Higher alpha seems more usable than ~200-250 more DPM. It's easier to play and trade with it. Tier 8 is an exception, because 240 alpha is more usable at tier VIII than 320 at tier IX and 360 at tier X. Short reload means you can trade 2 for 1 - something that becomes extremely tricky at tier 9 and 10 with many high DPM tanks that have 400-440 alpha. Penetration difference is negligible because of normalization, shell velocity is still great (1120 m/s) and having usable HE shell helps. Shame about worse accuracy, gun handling and aiming time, though (they are still great for 440 alpha heavy tank). Smaller guns are great on paper but they don't fit Yoh tanks. You have neither armor nor mobility to make proper use of them and DPM is not good enough for such alpha (less than 400 alpha heavies...). You meet E5 or S.Conq and you are toasted because they are better hulldown tanks and hit harder with barely ~1s longer reload (so you have zero room to fire twice before they reload). This is similar situation to Czech heavies and their single-shot guns. On paper, normal guns are vastly better in every way. In practice, autoloaders is what makes those tanks work. M-V-Y can be medium tank wannabe with 105 mm and be worse than an actual medium tank in every way or you can be a slightly faster, a bit softer T110E5 that hits harder. It's worth mentioning that 120 mm gets bonus points for surprising enemies because hardly anyone expect to be hit this hard by an american heavy tank... Of course, this is just my opinion. I don't use purple equipment, directives and all that fancy stuff. Perhaps with all those advantages it's possible to push 360 alpha to the point of usability. For me, it was a struggle and I hated the fact that both heavies and mediums can hit me harder and often reload faster or almost as fast as me. Once I unlocked 120 mm gun I never looked back.
QB thank you for doing these. I really like the fact that you are not focusing on only the popular tanks. I find these videos very helpful and really look forward to the next one coming out in the Master Class series! Well done!
This has been such a great help for me! I switched my setup to the ones you recommend, and in this tank I jumped from 41% damage to 66% damage. As a relatively new player, this was my first T10 mark of excellence. I'd also like to say that this is the only T10 I've played in where I've gotten more than 6,500 dmg. (Pls don't bully me) Thank you QB!
I grinded this tank pretty early even if it was "bad". But it's incredibly fun in the right situation and the fast firing gun is really good for track locking. The premium isn't bad (outside of the credit price) and hull down you can still get reliable bounces with it. It's not a hidden gem by any means but it's tank that can shine under the right circumstances and if you know how to wheel it. It's a pretty fun Tier X and I find myself going to it pretty often compared to the leopard or the Udes
I love mine. Always feels like a challenge to do well in though. They really need to tweak that 120mm gun to make it a viable option though. It’s just outclassed by the 105
22:55 So ridiculous that it makes any difference that you hit an ally, seeing as it's been impossible to damage a teammate for years now. Which means that now, all such a thing does is further incentivize griefers to block a teammate's shots to deny them awards they've earned.
Question: how do 3 crewmen, main gun breach, ammo, hydraulic system and other equipment all fit in that turret? 🧐 physically impossible 😕 Rock on tankers 🤘😎
Great tank, i live it. I know the 122 is not the most competitive, but sometimes the alpha makes up for the drawbacks. As far as equipment i don't find the vents gamechangina and i play it with turbo, gun rammer and hardening 😊
80 more alpha does not make up for less dpm, worse gun handling, worse aiming time, worse traverse speed and worse pen values. U can think that it does but it doesn't
@@WoTjolly but when u peak u have to aim longer if u don't want to snap shot every single shot, so therefore u have to expose urself to enemies for longer periods at a time when playing with 120mm gun
@Milfsuu you can setup the tank with the fields mods differently to compensate, the 120 has 2s aim time, it's not bad for a heavy, not the best either. One more thing is that you have more capability to overmatch armour even if it penetrates less
@@WoTjolly there's not many plates that 120mm will overmatch at tier 10, 122 would be a different story. But like i said, u use what gun u like, usually better players use the 105. Also if the 120 gun suits better for u then m-v-y is not the tank for u, just stating my opinion
I think its unfortunate that this tank is in the state or role its in. Id like to say its a jack of all trades but i cant even say that about it. This tank was available on wotb for quite some time before wg realeased it to wot. Its interesting to me because wot got the vz 55 before blitz but blitz got the yo's before vz line. From what ive seen playing both versions of the game, blitz is where a lot of new mechanics and potentially OP or toxic tanks get released and tested on first before wg decides to release them to wot. Example, when blitz got yo tanks, none of them had the reserve track system but from t8-t10 they all had auto loaders. I beleive these tank was originally designed in real life to use auto loaders. When wg released yo tanks to blitz, we had them for about 5 or 6 month before wot had them and 3 month before that wg released the vz line with the 2 shot high damage auto loaders. Wg released the yo tanks on blitz from t9-t10 with the option of a 3 round 105mm auto loader with 350 damage and 3 second intra clip reload and or the 120mm with 2 rounds and a 1.75 second intra clip reload similar to that of the vz 55 with 450 alpha damage. When blitz finally received the vz line, none of those heavies had an auto loader option because we basically already had the same gun on the t9 & t10 yo tanks. Another interesting thing to note is that on blitz, the m6 yo is t10 and the m5 yo is t9. We have also had the new Japanese tds for quite while now. At least the last 2 years or so along with the new Japanese heavy tank line. The type 71 heavy tank is a monster on blitz and i suspect will be no different when it finally gets released to wot. Maybe im wrong but i feel that wg prioritizes wot over blitz and uses blitz as a low key super super tester for all of the potentially controversial and or upcoming future tank lines. In this regards they're able to test and iron out a lot more potential problem a head of time as they know somewhat to expect from the blitz players feedback play the tanks. Thus this leaves less room for complaints of broken or op tanks by time they release them to wot for super test. If anyone has read all of this, i applaud and commend you for making it this far. Its just the only way ive been able to truly make sense of how they release certain tanks and tank lines into the games.
This is the type of tank that requires the player to actually 'Play' the game as it was intended. Not like the BZ premium where it just trolls and rolls wherever the hell it wants with damn near no reprecussions.
I got this tank recently but didn't test it yet, I have Arnie as commander @ 79% of his 5th skill and 3 ladies from Xmas event and they @ 71% of their 4th skill, same your 1st equipment setup but used rotation device instead of the vent
The mention that stock gun is the best BY FAR is simply untrue. Sure, it has quite a few advantages but there are tracks that you will not take down with one shot and hitting enemies for 360 is kinda riddiculous in t10 heavy. Both are fairly competitive and no person is mad to use one or the other...
Let me put it simply: better players use the 360 alpha gun just because it's more competitive in basically every way. Higher alpha is not a reason to take the 120mm gun, actually there is not a single reason why anyone should take the 120mm gun instead of the 105mm. But if u play with the 120mm then play with it. In the long run dpm is more important than alpha. Same concept goes with E100, 152mm gun is not better than the 128mm. Yes, 152mm gun has better gold pen but better players still play with the 128mm because it's just more competitive and simply just better
@@RantrexGames name one actually good player who uses the 120 gun. Here's few examples who uses the 105: skill, daki, kajzoo, msimpson. Well i can name that one good player who uses 120 and it's orzanel, but he's the ONLY ONE i know that uses 120
M-V-Y is such a strange tank; a heavium but in a wrong way: you get armor and alpha of a medium and size (height) of a heavy. The only really good thing is speed. Personally, I don't like it and rarely play it. There are so many better tanks I don't see any reasons why anybody would grind this specific line.
Im very New in Wot PC (i played Wot blitz for 4 years), but someone could recommend me a line? I go for lines that I know, but idk to much about WOT PC, thank you guys
Sorry no crew returned to play this tank 15 days now WOT knows this and is fixing problem in upgrade still waiting, you are using WOT crew supplied a rating good luck missing any thing.
Can we pls go back to easily tracking people in WoT? All the new mechanics to ease up getting tracked for noob players ruin the game tactics appeal. It is totally pointless to play lights these days. TDs can't really be tracked anymore and racking up high assistance has become nearly impossible. Vision system is conceptually broken by this tweak. Even TDs themselves got a harder time, as they can't track enemies out of sight and work them down. Wargaming really listened to the wrong people complaining about being tracked a lot. Needing two shots to track people is totally bad. It would have been much better to shave 25% or 50% of the repair time.
DON'T WORRY, I AM UNLOCKING THIS T 10 TANK, SOON IT WILL BE ON SALE. AND I WILL CHANGE THOSE STATES WITHIN A YEAR. AND I WANT TO KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE ON SALE SOMEONE IN THE GAME TOLD ME 24.12. 2023 IS THE DAY WHEN IT WILL BE ON SALE. IS THAT TRUE?
Literally every tank is rammer tank unless the game literally prevents you from equipping it. Also stab is superior than vent as it improves your accuracy and aiming time by a huge margin. So if you have two setups I would run hp, rammer, stabs and second setup hp, rammer, turbo. Or, if you wanna be really fancy and you like this tank, use the experimental stuff, it works really well on this tank, so exp hp, rammer, MIS. You can theoretically forgo the hp and play turbo, stabs, rammer but the benefits of hp are pretty big, especially if you have to watch qb videos.
i hate this tank just for the way it looks, it makes the game even more of a joke. I know it was an actual design on paper, but seriously, its just a joke.
