FULL DETAILED NARRATIVE HONEST REVIEW:
PROS:
For a Php 1,300 (USD 24), this pedal offers 9 Reverb Types from basic Room Reverb up to shimmering Ambient Reverbs (Shimmer, Cloud and Bloom). All the reverb types sound decent except for the Type 9 (LOFI). I just don't personally prefer it though. Then, there are 3 custom Parameter Knobs that varies the function depending on the Reverb Type that you selected. For the sound quality and Multi-Reverb function, I cannot think of another reverb pedal at this price range. And is this really a Strymon BigSky clone? Definitely NOT, but for a Php 1.3k (USD 24) pedal, the Shimmer, Cloud and Bloom Reverb sounds great right? C'mmon!😱
CONS:
There's a popping sound when you turn On the pedal! Though the popping sound is common on pedals with "hard-clicking" footswitch, there are ways to minimize it to the point that's neglible / tolerable. And that's where the quality of the components and craftmanship will enter the picture. Hence the price right? Yes, that's it. We get what we pay for. The popping sound is really a NO for me and I really hope that ‪@M-VAVE‬ will improve the switching of this pedal.
Another thing is, the overall signal cuts off when turn off and on the pedal. And for this reason, the M-Vave Mini-Universe has NO Trail Function. So, it will not fade out naturally when we turn off the pedal while the reverb sound is still ringing. We need to wait for the natural fade out of the pedal before turning it off if you want a smooth reverb fade out.

It's almost perfect. My only gripe is that it cuts of the trails instantly when disengaging. Not sure if it's a deal breaker.

Yes Sir! That's my problem too! I also mentioned it in the video and in the full review in the Description. It's like, we have to wait for the natural fade out before turin off the pedal. Haha. It will cut off the signal right away! 😩 This is useless on live performance since we have to turn off/on some pedals or this. But, I find this very useful on recording where the pedal is always on. Looking forward for the improved footswitch on V2. 😂😱🤣

Today I received my M-Vave Mini Universe. The shimer is interesting but, to tell the truth, there is no noticeable difference between the different modes.

I already have a demo for that. Thanks. I can say that the ambient reverbs of the mvabe mini unverse is on par with Joyo Atmosphere Tho, the atmostphere is still superior when it comes to build quality.

I've seen below another video that using a 1m resistor on in and out and grounding them (supposedly) solves the popping problem. I'll try it myself and let you guys know the results.

one thing that is noticeable is size - it's tiny - usually advanced pedals, are huge boxes, font used on info is a real slap on the face though. Honestly haven't checked the sound yet it's been more than a week I got it hahahaha

Most likely, the one you got is the V2. It does not have the loud popping sound now since it uses a soft clicking footswich.

Pwede sya, kaso need mo pa ng Y-Splitter kasi Stereo ang Piano, Mono it. Tho, I think pwede mo ding irekta na dito sa pedal, pero baka hindi Ideal ang tunog kasi kasi from Stereo, force rekta ka to mono.

Decent PSU Sir at depende talaga sa outlet. Yung sakin kasi, minsan merong popping, minsan wala. Pero if meron, tolerable naman.

Copying other peoples hard work just seems wrong. Either way, one of the reasons Strymon stuff is so good is that the analog part of the circuit is simply fantastic. Of course the algorithms are meticulously crafted as well, and that's the easy part to pirate, extract and clone. Buying their stuff only encourages it. Strymon, Made In The USA with American craftsmanship.

I don't think anyone expects this pedal to rival a strymon. All I know is that I'm not spending 500 bucks on a guitar pedal, so this one is a good option for me.

Great video! @fiatluxmequi3227 @EhrosmithTV (and anyone else...) The fx tails not continuing after turning the pedal off is a bummer, as is the tiny loss of output when switching on/off. These are not deal breakers for me - at this price point. But they are annoying and a pity. When mine arrives, I plan on modding it by adding a 2nd foot switch that will short the "MIX" control to full dry. This way I can "turn off" the fx but have the tails go on. Yes, that means the pedal will have to always be on and the signal will always be going through it. (For me it's ok for home use: I use a power supply for the pedals, and I have a home-made A/B loop pedal that can route signal through or around any pedal.) That's what I *hope* to do with this otherwise amazing little pedal... We'll see how much room is in it and if the circuit even allows for it. Just thought I'd share in case anyone cares to try as well, or has other (better) ideas!
