How do i use the Chocolate and Ms-1 to control my TC Electronic Plethora X3, Walrus Audio Mako D1, Walrus Audio Mako R1and Zoom MS-70CDR? I'm just controlling presets only. Do I need 4 sets of MS-1?

If those devices are midi supported. This will surely work. You cant connect to many devices at once.. The Mvave Ms1 and Chocolate can only connect one device at a time. Just like bluetooth on cellphones.

Thanks for the infos brother. I have one question. I connected the m vave chocolate to pc without the midi b USB and there is a bit of latency. Do you have latency when connecting the m vave chocolate to pc with midi b USB; Thank you.

I believe it works. I haven tried it yet becoz I dont have a G1Xfour. But I saw videos here in YT that it work with Mvave Chocolate.

Can the MS 1 act as the transmitter? Can we just connect the MIDI A to a Midi footswitch, connect it to our phone over Bluetooth, and then control apps on our phone via the footswitch?

I believe it can work that way. Same principle if we are going to use it on PC software. Pls. Just take note that we need an OTG Cable on android phones.

@@EhrosmithTV Thanks for the prompt reply, but why would we need an OTG adapter? I was asking whether just connecting the MIDI A to the MIDI Footswitch, and connecting to it via Bluetooth would enable me to switch presets on the phone from the footswitch. In other words, can I switch presets on my phone over Bluetooth using JUST a MIDI footswitch and the MIDI A, WITHOUT using MIDI B?

Di ko pa natry yung efx na yan Sir. But if midi supportedd yung g2.1nu, gagana naman to for sure. Regular midi controller lang din naman tong mvave. Wireless nga lang.

Ginamit ko sya sa midi keyboard ko. Medyo malaki ang latency (20-100ms). Pwede rin pala syang gamitin na yung Midi A lang walang Midi B, via BLE connection. Pero malaki talaga latency sakin, peke ba nabili ko? 😭

Set mo yung Buffer sa Asio. Also, mas prefer ko ito ng naka wired. Mas mataas talaga latency kasi wireless. Icompensate nyo lang via Buffers. Thanks

Funny that the MS-1 is marketed as a "wireless" system.. When the USB dongle actually needs to be plugged-in to get power to function. Not exactly wireless.

There are 2 receivers, the midi A and the midi B. The midi A is the 5-pin receiver with builtin in battery. While the midi B is the USB Type. Which has no battery. And, there are 2 ways to use the midi B. Either Host Mode and OTG Mode. In Host Mode, we need to connect to a PSU for it to power on, then a usb cable to the Slave device.. Its wireless actually, on the part of the M-Vave Chocolate midi controller and MS-1. They send midi message via bluetooth, so its wireless. But on the part of MS-1 to the Slave device, it needs to be connected via USB Cable.. The 2nd way to use the MS-1 is via OTG Mode, which you just need to plug it to a Computer or Android phone (with OTG cable). And it will be bus powered. Its wireless bro. It sends midi message via bluetooth.

Hi sir … my slave device is a Valeton GP100 and Hindi gumagana yung mvave Chocolate kahit Meron na akong MIDI device. Na update ko na rin …Papano kaya to ?

Baka sa connection sequence Sir. If you turn them on na wrong order. Hindi gagana. Kahit ung sa cdr70 ko. Ganun din. Kala ko nung una defective. Hindi pala.. Ganto gawin mo Sir. Unplug mo lahat. As in from zero. Then, do this in SEQUENCE, 1. Power the Valeton via 9v. 2. Tsaka nyo icoconnect and on, yung charger> ms-1> usb cable to valeton. 3. Turn on the chocolate. Pede magkapalit yung 2 and 3. Ang importante, bago mo ion yung midi system. Dapat naka ON na agad yung Valeton. Gawan ko pa ito ng demo soon. Make sure din pala to configure the Chocolate (to Program Change A sa Cubu Suite). And yung MS-1 (to Host Only Mode sa cube suite app). Separately. Then, pag gagamitin mo na, make sure na naka off ung mga bluetooth ng mga CP nyo. Dapat bluetooth lang ng MS-1 at Chocolate yung naka on. Para sila. Mag pair. Gagana na yan for sure. Kasi may nakita naman ako valeton gp100 demo sa yt.

To add Sir. Anu palang midi port ng Valeton GP-100? USB port ba or yung 5-pin midi? If 5pin midi. Hindi sya yung In to Out. Bale In to In sya. MS-1 midi In to Slave In Then ms-1 midi Out to Slave Out.

Yes Sir. Always naman sa mga Midi controller or midi device na kino configure. Hindi sila plug and play sa first time. You may check my in-depth demo video for M-Vave Chocolate. Grabeng Explanation nangyare sa video na yun. Haha!

Ang alam ko pede Sir. Since meron syang 6.35 TRS Jack. May nakita na din akong content non dito. Ginamit nya ay 6.35mm to 5pin Midi cable, pang slave sa hx stomp.. So pag wired, 6.35mm to 5pin midi.. Di ko sure sa wired kung pede yung 6.35mm to USB Type. Bale may in-depth demo na din ako ng Chocolate at MS-1. Check nyo na lang po. Ganyan din ako nung una, gusto ko pa wired. Pero nung na try ko na wireless sya. Maganda naman, 3ms lang latency or 0.003 sec. Halos wala and di ko talaga ramdam. So I will go for wireless connection. Thanks po.

Matagal malobat Sir. Di ko pa nga narerecharge since march 11 ata nung dumating.. You can use it naman while chargiing din. Pero no worries, kahit ilang oras, di sya malolobat. Hehe

Okay lang din naman Sir. Much better kada gig, may dala kayong charger or fully charged before gig.. Im sure kahit 3 or 4 hrs mo gamitin okay pa din.
