Very useful guide. Coming from a Guardian Druid with more than 5 strong defensive cd's, I feel a bit naked as a DH but the gameplay is super fun. I will try that first build and these tips, thankyou!
Hey dorki, thanks for the video! Really helpful overall, but I want to thank you particularly for talking about the fiery brand build. I haven’t seen many people talk about it and I never got to test it myself since I never got beta. I’ve been curious at how it is compared to the main build, and your video is the only one I found so far that goes into it. I’ll definitely try it out once the expansion goes live and will revisit this video for the tips on both of them!
Hey Dorki, I love/enjoy your new class guides so much, they are very concise and informative, all you need to know in 6-8min, just perfect. Thanks a lot for content and which you a good start in the new m+ season.
As a longtime DH player I really like how we no longer use Spirit Bomb in single target. It always felt weird to me, plus it made soul cleave feel weak by comparison. I like spirit Bomb, but I also like chopping things up.
dorki is a legend. Love you man, been watching a lot at SL 1st season but after that cut wow out from my life, now im back and ready to tank, with you as a mentor :)
I'm really thinking about finding some good alt for my main tank which is Prot Pally. VDH so far is my number one candidate. Thank you for making me more confident :) PS. Still waiting for that Prot Pally vid! :D
spent like a decade tanking as dk. Coming to dh felt similar except way more passively tanky and you don’t feel like your entire life is under water with concrete boots on.
Before Dorkis video I thought "you are not prepared" regarding VDH. But now that I've been branded with knowledge, I'm ready to hunt. (I managed to setup a combo point bar for Fragments and I so happy!)
he said it, only the dudes that play the spec for a long time can handle that playstyle, its deffinitely better build dps-wise and tank-wise, alot of big dh tanks are considering cheat death a meme talent, 90% of a time u dont even proc it during dungeon, its just for special occasions like really anti tank affix weeks and such
Loved DH in SL after coming back to wow. big fan of the fiery brand play style. when the meta shifted back towards spirit bomb I really didn’t enjoy it - something about spirit bomb feels clunky. Playing resto/guardian Druid now, but itching for DH at times - seems like we won’t be getting away from spirit bomb though sadly..
@@Cerfpve nah i usually hold onto them for when i need to use it mid pull. in higher level content it would look like interrupts->silence->interrupts->aoe ccs but you can use precise sigil if u want to do that
Thanks for these vids Dorki, I just wonder if you could say for us healers when it's safe to wait with healing in regards to cds and resources for the tanks? Cheers!
Can I ask what you mean by "pool" fury & souls ? Do you mean to keep it at high towards the end of a pull so that you have more than enough for the next pull ? If so, I get how I could do that for fury, but how do I keep souls for the next fight that's going to be 200 meters away ?
at end of your pull when theres a mob or two left try to build your souls and fury for next pull. this lets you spirit bomb asap on the next pack souls linger even from really far away as long as you don't walk over them or they run out of time
Fiery brand build for me seems far more tankier, with the two casts along with DS, Fel dev and darkness you are almost in a situation where some sort of mitigation up time is always possible. Maybe I'm just poor and need that safety net- but it seems almost broken. Even On Tyrannical Fiery brand is very useful. Without FB I feel a bit vulnerable. I also find chains super useful, although on the builds it is hardly every mentioned, It interrupts , groups up and slows if I need a get away! I missed it when i drop it.
Do you still suggest Elysian decree for m+? I have been following a bunch of other builds and what not so far, but I really dislike fodder. Also, I'm going to have to try out your rotations for staying alive, because I feel like I am dying very quickly.
taking concetrated sigils is bs even for beginners, there will be A LOT OF pulls where u gotta pull casters to u from afar and the extra 2 seconds on silence is definittely not worth the trade and also not taking longer immo aura is just inting
Hey was wondering if there is a list out there of when to use darkness to optimize it fully? I am confused on when is the best time to hit it. Anything to help out the healers in this bursting/ grievous week.
I started wow again 3 dass ago and did my first m+ 3 todays... I totaly have Spikes not in my hotbar.... Will be a total breeze now for my healer when i use Them from now on 🤣🤣🤣
I havn't played around with vdh too much till now, but I feel like both Precise Sigils and Concentrated Sigils feel both a decent bit bad to play, but the 2seconds increase seems too good to pass up on :/
Is it for 70 lv talent tree cause ı am lv 60 if ı open Collective anguish none points left for the quickened sigils ı am a new player if you're ansver ı'll be very happy and thanks for the video :)
Random question, my computer is super basic, but I lag in anything shadowlands related, can anyone recommend what RAM to get? I’m tech ignorant. It confuses me because I use to raid and do battlegrounds in cataclysm on a laptop lol
I realy feel that for Vengeance I need to place my sigils where I want to snap aggro when gather groups or draw casters with a well placed silence sigil idk
@@Dorki thanks. 2 questions please IS War s+ only for tankiness ? Because his utility and damage look little lower than vdh. IS dk better for pugs than War or vdh for the brez if the heal fail ? Thanks :) I think I will go vdh anyway
Hey @Dorki, thank you for putting the guide together... it is very helpful. The only question I have is about concentrated sigils... would not it be better if you take precise sigils to be able to silence far away mobs without having to move ?
