This is great because it shows how iron sights of this type work, which is what a lot of video games get EXREMELY wrong. When sighted in, the circle gets "wider" or even almost disappears due to effect of your vision, giving you very clear and easy to use sight picture. While in games they usually completely ignore this effect and make these sights completely block out your view, making them horrid to use... and making weapons with open sights easier to use, while in real life they're actually way worse. So it's good to have these videos to show people who don't shoot IRL, to visualise to them how this type of sights *actually* works.

Wow, it's fun to reminisce about the old days when gun laws were reasonable and there were gun shops around. The gun shop you refer to in SF was the San Francisco Gun Exchange. It was located at Mission and 2nd Sts. Went out of business about twenty years ago. I was so sorry to see it go. SF politicians are not friendly towards the gun business. The gun shop out at 44th Ave. and Judah St. moved up to Santa Rosa years ago. The last shop in SF, Bob Chow's at 29th and Mission, got forced out of business a few years ago. The progressive politicians imposed onerous and expensive requirements on them and they just had to quit. No gun shops in SF now. ☹️

The M1 Carbine was designed primarily to offer noncombat and line-of-communications troops a better defensive weapon than a pistol or submachine gun, with greater accuracy and range, but without the recoil, cost, or weight of a full-power infantry rifle.

I used to shot with this during my service, just for consuming bullet rounds😂 Comparing my primary weapon K2, it was pretty shorter than my thought and suprisingly light. Very good gun indeed.

@@yarosslavv AR 15 is a good gun too. Little heavier and longer than my primary weapon but always hit where I wanted. I guess the heroes in your country would agree. Glory to heroes🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Wieght was a big reason it was liked by guys who had to carry it all day. Light recoil. Decent accuracy and reliability.

Audie Murphy said he preferred the carbine for when they were inside buildings because of its light weight and maneuverability over the Garand.
