Brandon, let me say for the record I am an Android, Windows, and Linux user. The only Apple i device I've ever owned is an iPod. That said, I recently purchased the iPad Air 5 and it was like an immersion course in Chinese for me. I'm being funny but seriously, the UI is so different from Android and Windows I see why those who are a part of the complete Apple ecosystem don't like Android or Windows. For me, I needed this device for photo editing software that doesn't work on Android tablets otherwise I would have purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8. Reality being what it is, your video has been immensely helpful and I thank you for providing these tips and insight into how to get the best use out of iOS 15.x and this iPad Air. Looking forward to more content because this is what's needed to help me get the best use out of this device and this extremely powerful M1 chipset. You have a new subscriber sir.
In case anyone is wondering: a lot of these also apply to the iPad 10th gen (because I just got one)! If you were thinking of getting one instead of an air or pro
I switched from iPad Air 4 to the new Air 5; I can easily say that you can feel the power of M1 chip. Pages load faster on Safari, videos load faster on RU-vid app; everything loads faster. I used the Air 4 for 2 years because of that I can easily feel the difference. If 60% improvement of CPU performance and doubling the RAM and GPU is not enough to upgrade then what else do you want?
@@ganeshkumatkar2526 It's the same build quality as an ipad air 4 and that is fine, its well made but it is fragile if you are not careful with it. An accidental sit on it will make it bend so use a case
Wow I didn’t know some of these tricks/tips, they work on my iPad Pro 12.9 inch 5th generation! Thanks for making this video, well appreciated, and keep it up with these videos 😀
I have the air 4 and the Magic Keyboard and honestly i was able to give my MacBook Air M1 to my mom for school because my iPad is basically almost a laptop now. The MacBook was just not being used as much because Al my iPad literally does the same thing. There’s nothing it can’t do. I use it for school and it multitasks very well. These tips just made it even better. Thanks.
I have a Macbook Air and I use it but I just ordered the iPad Air 5th Gen and after watching this video I'm really excited, now I just have to get someone to buy me an Apple Pencil for Christmas LOL
@@ankittiwari3351 The battery is excellent, I haven’t timed the duration but it’s lasting using it off and on all day/night. And you can use your usb c macbook charger and cable to charge it. I find the cable they supply too short.
I’ve ordered an iPad Air 5 in purple which should arrive June 26. So I’m getting ready. You’ve just showed me quite a lot of tips I’ll never use or remember. But I’ll re-watch; I’ve saved your video and subscribed. Thank you.
Lots of wonderful information! I had to rewind a lot because you went quickly but I understand that if you went as slowly as I would have liked, more savvy computer users wouldn’t be happy with that.
2:53 even if you didnt rename it you can still know which finger is it exactly & for which fingerprint. While still in the same touch id & passcode setting screen, put your finger on the switch button like you want to unlock it. The exact saved fingerprint will then match your finger that you are using and flash to it accordingly.
This video helped me so much, as I just got an iPad Air 5. I have had an iPad before, but it was one of the very first ones, and obviously a lot has changed since then. I really needed to catch up on what new features came. Thank you!
Finally after wanting this ipad for 3 years I finally got one. Watching this on my Ipad air 5 in purple😊 I hope everyone who wants an ipad get one! Its's really worth the money
This is one of the best, if not the best videos I’ve seen on how to use this device. I just received my new iPad Air 5 yesterday. My 3rd generation iPad Air finally tanked after almost 5 years. I am noticing some of the same glitches that were happening on my older one such as when trying to leave this comment. There was no place to leave a comment. So as with the older one, I have to close out the video and open it again and there is now a place for the comment. Maybe it’s RU-vid issue. Not sure. And this has frozen on me once so far which is annoying. And the options I have in Wallpaper do not include these new iPad Air 5 colors. I find that very odd. I had to take a screenshot, put it in my photos, and then select it. Also, this purple color looks almost gray. But hey, no big deal as it will have a case on it anyway. Anyone else have any of these issues? Thanks for a great video. I’m not much into too much tech but I subscribed anyway. It was that good!
The keyboard backlight brightness also works with the Logitech Combo Touch keyboard/trackpad/case. But it's not necessary as that device has dedicated brightness keys.
Android fanboy here. Been using android all my adult life. Just picked up an iPad Air 5th gen and I love it. Does everthing I need it to do and more. It's a bit of a learning curve for me but it's becoming easier as the days go by. I really hate to say this but Apple makes great products that I can actually use, and their security is top-notch. As soon as I get more familiar with my iPad I will make the switch to an iPhone and eliminate the andRoid rage.
im. not apple fan but the ipad is really awesome of what i get its getting done most of my usage when im using on games and creating music for fun and gaming is just really good that i experience on it
Hey I just got an iPad Air 5 and it’s currently in iOS version 16.6 which the current version of iOS is at like 17.5 I think I want to update it however I do know that when I update it I lose the wallpaper options from the “stills” menu on wallpapers but I don’t want to lose them but I also want to update it to the latest version is there anything I can do to keep the wallpaper options?
I don't understand why people like center stage it's awful. I would rather just see the entire view of the camera because if the cameras constantly tracking where I am then I don't truly know where the boundaries of the camera are
Watching this 😂 like most of us while we just got our new iPad Air 5 gen lol. Didn’t even know half of these tips. Only has it for like couple of weeks
I’m watching this on my iPad 6th gen and I’m getting the iPad Air 5 tomorrow tbh I’m probably gonna use all of the ones I can on my current iPad and just forget the, when I’m using the new one😂😅
I wonder if anyone can help me please. Does anyone know if it is possible or not to delete my fingerprint/s. I’ve decided that using prints is not for me.
