M1 KVT - Abrams In Disguise! 

How do you feel about the VISMOD/OPFOR Abrams being added to the game?

i'm loving the mini lore explanations for new vehicles you're doing recently, that 2 minute segment really helps picture the scene and i'd love to see it in more videos!!

The thing that's really wild about Krasnovia (AKA the Democratic People's Republic of Krasnovia) is that it's not only an OPFOR stand-in, it actually has evolving lore. Like when Krasnovia was invented before the fall of the Soviet Union, it was a unified communist country representing a peer-to-peer military threat. Then when the Soviet Union fell, Krasnovia fell apart and became a bunch of warring states akin to the break up of the former Yugoslavia, and each separate one can be used as a stand-in as I understand it for any kind of mix-and-match post-Soviet hoedown the Army comes up with. And that's not all, either. There's stuff about the neighboring Kingdom of Parumphia and their longstanding enemy, the Republic of the Mojave, and an entire plotline about stopping the alliance of Krasnovia and Parumphia against raiding the Republic for uranium to construct WMDs. I'm not gonna lie, coming up with these scenarios sounds like being a multi-billion dollar Dungeon Master, and the players are using Abrams tanks instead of six inch pewter statuettes of wizards.

That small laugh after "Krasnovia has intelligence?" Got me good lol

I loved the history behind this tank bo, if they do this kinda thing again I would love a explanation in that same style again

I hope they would add in a few more vismod vehicles preferably functional ones especially older ones like Sheridan based ones. There was a few that were modified to look like Russian tanks and also armored personnel carriers so it'd be interesting maybe an event Vehicles if it's more limited number and everyone has the opportunity to get it

Fun fact: Radiator damage got remodeled- if it's destroyed, the engine will gradually end up getting damage in turn until it too goes dead and red or the radiator gets repaired.

The chaos that started at 5:51 is nothing compared to what I experienced yesterday. I was playing in conquest Tunisa with the city as the capture point and it felt like everybody was in a light tank so we were all flying around the city and it was just a constant rumble of artillery landing and tanks firing. I have never had that experience before and I couldn't stop laughing. Just imagine what Bo and crew were dealing with but times 3.

In the old days (circa 1973) the Opfor was known as the circle triag (symbol was a triangle inside a circle) And a funny attachment to infantry helmets

The ''M'' in M22, stands for Morale, so if you get an M22 on your team, that automatically gets you an extra 22 morale points to anyone on your team, or whoever is nearest to that little tonka tank.

Thank god you did the explanation of what the hell this is. Because my question for the first minute of the vid was, "What the hell is this?" Like a T-72 and an M1 had a kid...

thank you for explaining the back story of this tank, I feel like people are just ranting about this tank saying its "fake" or other stuff like that, when in reality its just a target practice tank for the US and that's all it it.

Now I'm wondering: would it break the game to have the laser rangefinder on the Abrams platform function as it does in real life, both adjusting the gun tube's elevation and inducing lead based on distance and speed?

As for adding a 10.3 premium, I don't have too much of a problem with it at this point since they already did that with the panzer battalion

Honestly I don't even think the opfor vehicles need to be premiums just add in a modification option for the vehicles in the normal tech tree, so people can use them at their leisure

Tbh, we should probably gaslight Chieftain into making a serious video on pride of krasnovian tank force that they use to guard their border against the despicable Elbonia, that neighbours them😅 With Abrams MAYBE going to Ukraine in next year or after the war, it's not as far fetched to see old Desert Storm era M1's being equipped with ERA, IR dazzlers, drop fuel tanks, 100500 smoke launchers and sporting ukranian camo.

There are far more real vehicles than there are fake ones in this game, compared to World of Tanks. It's not Krasnovian tank. This is American tank, Americans during the war with Krasnovia imitated military operations at their training ground. Krasnovia is a post-Soviet state, therefore it uses Soviet and Russian equipment. Therefore, for combat exercises, the Americans disguised their Abrams so that it looked like a Krasnovian tank, that is, a Russian tank. The Americans don't know Russian, and that's why they wrote a random Russian word on the tank that they found in the dictionary, and this is the word "Лодка", which does not mean anything in this contest. Perhaps this is a reference to American films, where in the story there are inscriptions in Russian, which in reality are gibberish. For example, in the movie The Bourne Identity.

knowing the US military and the way things happen - the fake ERA is probably made out of titanium or something more exotic/expensive...or its cardboard they make people makes during an activity to improve morale. The M1 originally had a 105mm M68 main gun. The tanks used for the OPFOR are old units that were mothballed, the 105mm is accurate for the early models.

To be perfectly honest, I'm fine with them adding in VisMod vehicles and Paper vehicles. I play the game to have fun, and the more variation the better. WT has both a good SIM function, and game modes for the non hardcore SIM players like myself. So it can attract both players, assuming the Snail doesn't need yet another (4rth, 5th? I've lost count by now) boycott to keep the game "FUN"

I remember fate turning his turret towards me at the beginning of the round and I thought the hat and eyes looked familiar, but it wasn't until halfway through the round when I saw Stick in the killfeed that I realized that you guys were there.
