Yeah, I'm one of those 10% who liked the touch bar. Would be nice to have a separate keyboard with one.

As soon as it he unwrapped it I also thought it looked like those old plastic macbooks with the boxy-ness

if this MacBook was closed and sitting on a table next to a closed pervious gen Macbook Pro 16', if i've never seen the new MacBook Pro i would've thought that this was the old one.

I need to start creating RU-vid videos or other content creation just so I can justify buying this for myself. Lol

honestly the previous design looks less 'chubby' and more futuristic tho.

Can’t wait to get my hands on the 14 in MacBook Pro. Been running a mid-2012 MBP for 8 years and this upgrade is worth the money.

Ordered the 16 inch version m1 max with 32gb ram to browse the web and watch RU-vid and social network. Hopefully will be powerful.

The intel based 16" looks so much cleaner and more refined, but Apple made the right choice giving up looks for functionality. It makes sense to put looks first on their base products, the ones people buy just to say they have an apple product, but the "Pro" models should actually be made for the people who are looking for a laptop that is going to be a workhorse. I'm definitely happy with this new functionality over style logic from Apple's "Pro" lineup. Although I do agree, I will miss the touch bar...Not only was it nice for emojis, but it was also great for autocorrect. I never had a problem with using it when I was looking for a more traditional use of it, but the added functionality was definitely nice. Glad Apple was listening to it's consumers, but unfortunately, it's consumers were wrong😂😂

Honestly, i prefer the 2020 version. Personally i loved the touchbar and thin/light design of the previous MacBooks. As a student, the ports are not needed for me and i love just having 2 thunderbolt ports and a headjack. Also this new notch doesn't seem right, has no face id and blocks a tiny bit of the screen. I will be personally keeping my 2020 MacBook pro as i love it and find it more suitable and convenient for a student like me. However i loved the video, and cant wait to see an in depth review of it, you may change my mind 👀

I was actually expecting the webcam to be much better. It does look improved compared to old one, but it has a hazy look to it (washed out) with raised iso which is surprising since he has a decent light setup. Anyone agree?

Not a fan of this new ''old classic'' design. Is very thick. After revealed i buyed macbook pro 2020 because of the design and price :) I think the design is better on 2020 generations

I think MacBook Pro really suits professionals. Most students don't need this much power or ports for their workload. As a STEM student myself, I would be just fine with a macbook air for the portability. This is probably a very retro looking design that I'm not too fond of myself coming from the 2014 macbook pro. But in all honesty, I think running FCP on this machine will be smooth and seamless. Also, who cares about the notch? Half the people complaining about the notch probably aren't old enough to remember way bigger bezels a decade ago. Like it's fine, it has a functional design purpose to house the camera. Sure face id would've been an obvious addition, but it's not necessary on laptops IMHO.

Is 32GB enough for photo / video editing ? Or should I go for 32 GPU / 64GB RAM ? I am a photographer / videographer whose main focus currently is wedding photo/video. Most of the weddings I shoot have like 60-70 GB for photos alone. I plan to get into editing ads, short films and also for coding. On my 15 inch 2013 MacBook Pro the MagSafe doesn’t work because instead of the cable coming out of the computer the brick comes out of the wall

The webcam doesn't look like as much of an upgrade as they promoted it as to me, it's definitely over-soft and ISO bumped. I'd rather a bit more grain for a bit more detail.

Touchbar is pure a cost reduction in production. Not a lot of people liked it so it wasn’t a choice. Big fan of it, just a shame…

This 💻 MacBook would definitely be a good update from my very very very old thinkpad Lenovo, that I might add got secondhand from my friend…… and I hate them both for multiple reasons.

Apple just convinced a million or so customers that would have bought a more expensive MacBook Pro to get the cheaper MacBook Air. I'm not a Pro, so I like thin laptops that look nice as well as perform great for my non-Pro workload. I would love it so much if they brought the TouchBar to the M2 MacBook Air. Since the Pros are too Pro to use it, let us common folk have it.

Powerbook G4 vibes. I actually love the Touch Bar and the previous design, it looks more futuristic. Hopefully, Apple will bring back a better Touch Bar within 5 years to the future MBP.

I actually think I might miss the Touch Bar as well. I didn’t really use much of the functionality, but I liked that it was there, and felt it made the MBP a bit more “futuristic” looking.

I’m also gonna miss the Touch Bar and when I first saw it closed in the video, my reaction was ‘dang that thing looks ugly af 🤣’ But it’s all good cuz ik it’s thicker for the better and it will grow on me like the iPhone notch 🥴 MacBook notch>iPhone notch

Sometimes you have to sacrifice a little design, to have more usability, so ok. I want to see this monster's processing tests. For most Brazilians this Mac is just a distant dream, it costs 72x the minimum wage here. 🥵 (It seems that Apple is no longer keen to sell in our national territory)

Apple did a great job listening to the general public who are power users. I think it’s safe to say the MacPro’s and iMac Pro’s were commercial failures and it’s partially due to Intel’s limitations. With that said, I am going to keep my 16’ Retina. Aesthetically the previous generation looks much better (even w/the touchbar) and an HDMI and MagSafe port is not enough for me to cough out that much money. These would be great for more power users who will use the processors/GPU to its full potential. The 16’/i9 is a sweet spot for those of us who aren’t into video/audio rendering and are just average consumers. Great video as always bro! Keep pushing. 💯👍🏾

THAT is one chonk boi. It looks like a ThinkPad P series rather than X1 Carbon. I personally don't like the new design 🙁 The 2020 MBP was already in good shape and in comparable with XPS or X1 Carbon in term of physical properties.

It is looks old school and unattractive. No touchbar, the keyboard aluminum in the middle also gone. Honestly, I am upset about that. BUT, those big battery, extra ports, power, screen and performance made up those negative. I definitely love this machine. Once I have budget, I'll buy this beast for sure.

I can see the internal power is amazing, but I am sorry to say this. The design is horrible. It looks like an HP gray laptop. By far, one the ugliest models Apple has ever made. The previous MacBook Pro design was 100% stylish and minimalist. I think this is something everybody knows, yet nobody wants to emphasize. Let's try to be objective. Apple is far away from its standards in terms of its usual designs...

This MacBook is just performance over design, makes me real sad Imma miss the old design that looks newer than this one.

When you said Nobody likes the Notch lol, you should speak for yourself and the rest of the Apple Haters who can't afford apple products and choose to bash Apple products. Real Apple users appreciates the technology the notch offers on some apple products. the Notch on the iPhone brings an unmatched technology that none of the ToyRoids competitors can or will ever be able to implement. I have never heard of any REAL Apple user complaining about the Notch other than the some "Unboxers", the Face ID technology on the iPhone is widely accepted by banks and governments throughout the world as an authorized authentication method. The ToyRoids never offered a good tech with their notches that's why it didn't matter for those companies to remove their notches. The notch on the Macs is there to provide a high quality features and it doesn't bother any REAL Apple user.

I really hate the new design (except the notch). That thickness is so 🤢🤮 I have a 19‘ 16“ MBP and I never needed any of those ports 99% of the time. And I love the touchbar😫

Take ur sd card port back, “pro users” can have an adapter, and get us extra TB4 port instead (TB4 port is much more flexible and valuable than sd port), and an exterior of previous models. This thing looks some old school for some but for me its weird and ugly.

Ohh man I love your channel but you don't get enough views. I am thinking a lot about this issue, you have perfect background, perfect cinematography but still not get enough clicks. I am a huge fan of this channel but still not click the video everytime. Actually I thought about it a lot and I think you narration and facial expressions are kinda dull and boring.
