It's a weird time for fans of modern tank combat games. The straight-shooting simulator titles from the turn of the millennium are no more. As tank nerds, we need a game that gets right to the good stuff - modern tanks, realistic system and damage models, and a focus on fun over all.
With Gunner, HEAT, PC! we aim to make that dream a reality.
GHPC will blend game and simulation in just the right amounts, providing awesome fire control and ballistics simulation behind deceptively simple controls. This core feature set serves as the foundation for a rich single player campaign mode, skirmish missions, and cooperative multiplayer modes: a satisfying option for every taste. And let's not forget about infantry and support units - tanks weren't built to fight alone. AI-controlled combined arms forces will round out the tactical environment and let armored units shine the way they were meant to.

When I was a kid in 4th grade I lived in Schweinfurt Germany. Our class got to go on a field trip to the Bradley simulators and operate them. My little mind was blown. This looks 1 million times better.

I actually live near the Kreuzberg. I only got to go into a Fuchs but even that was very exciting. When I first visited Point Alpha, the location the map is based on, and the museum there, I was absolutely mindblown by all the military things I saw there. Servus aus der Rhön

i was a bradley gunner my 242 was manufactured by hughes helicopters in the early 80s we shot the 919s and the 792s thats it wed always be AP heavy hung in the ready boxes we hated HE took to long to get to the target HE on the bottom shoot and AP on the top HE is heavier than the AP so it would bind up right at the ibas before it got to the feeder another thing wed do is pop off the plastic caps on the AP cause the feeder loved to choke on them used to have 2 long flathead screwdrivers and a hand crank to load the feeder it sucked but was awesome hard to explain have a good one everybody

hello wolf. another really cool video and well done on not gettting killed when you are up against tanks in the bradley. you really are getting the hang of the game now. so cool to see still cant believe the interest this game is now getting it really deserves it. i think for the next video it would be interesting to see you take the m60 out for a spin

The first wave would have been the top of the line. The Soviets had 2,000 T-80s in East Germany alone, and god knows how many T-72s there and in Czechoslovakia (likely thousands). The East Germans themselves had over 500 T-72s, the Chezchs another 800 or so (many of them made in Czechoslovakia). The East German T-55s and such would have been a second wave, together with Polish and Hungarian T-72s of which there were hundreds.

German t-72M didn't have composite armor in the turret, just 300-400mm of steel brick. Easy-peasy for a TOW

They have the both the T-72M (recent addition to the game) with the monolithic turret, however, there is also the T-72M1 with the Kvartz composite turret, so you really need to be cautious. Edit: If you look at 4:55 at the top right, you can see the 4th line reads "Penetrated turret cheek composite insert"

I was on M901's when I was in (M113 with a tow turret on it.) Believe me you do not want to stay still when firing one. The amount smoke coming from the back just is a big sign of here I am. Also the aim was not that easy in real life.

Bradley isn’t a tank. Anyways, tankers operate the Abrams. Your combat engineers, cav scouts and infantry operate the Bradley’s.

@@davisluong2060 Being in an Abrams is still a potential deathtrap, like any tank. an ATGM from a T-80 will easily lead to your wife getting a visit from a man with a letter.

Can shrapnel from a TOW hit strike nearby enemy vehicles and cause damage to their external components? Wouldn't be shocked considering how detailed the damage and armor penetration model is.

Depends. The shock wave from an explosion on soft armor can also cause damage inside the body.

I'm curious what would have happened if you'd engaged the t-72 with the 25mm. Could you disable but not destroy them? Maybe find a weak point? Destroy the optics? That'd be something to test.

A 25mm most likely would not penetrate a T-72s armour. Even with sabot rounds those things are hard to do much. Yet the TOW could easily dust that thing away.

The M2's needs a bigger /higher caliber gun.. If it wasn't for the toes they would be toast on the Bf. Or better yet a second set of toes on the other side of the turret..lol
