I agree but the section that he mention that should be left carbon on the rear spoiler I think should be painted the same as the car and the rest carbon
And to add to my previous moment. Isn’t there a shop that can mold a roof the same as factory but just in carbon fiber, like the Honda but instead of removing the whole roof, have like clip on maybe with 3m tape or something. 🤷🏼♂️ an idea for the boys
Would defo be something different and would give it a nice touch , but defo agree with mickey on the carbon roof or black roof, then decide on the spoiler , if you get what I mean 👍🏽
Looking great! The right side of that hood on the front gap still doesnt look 100% but i suppose thats what you get with non oem - plus the fact the car is white the shut lines are exaggerated are a little.
black roof would be sick but maybe paint the insert of the hood grille of have a carbon fiber replacement? Would look way better than the matte plastic one imo. Car looks sick though! Keep up the good work! Greetings from Belgium ;)
Imo the BMW OEM carbon pieces are much nicer than any aftermarket option. You will pay an arm and a leg for them compared to some of the aftermarket brands, but I think the subtlety and fit and finish of the OEM carbon pieces end up looking much better. The AA Concepts front splitter and rear lip are a little too aggressive for this car. But everyone has different taste, keep up the good content!
Hi, here some upgrades i think you should now, in germany you can buy the airinlets for brake cooling in the front bumber like the m2cs racing and the big rear wing, but you definitely need the carbon fiber trunk and roof from mperformance and it look extremely cool when the hood is hold by aerocatch fast closures. Greetings from germany, really loved the video.
Large rear wing depends on what You wanna do wih this car later on. Such a wing becomes useful above 120 km/h. If You want to take it on the race track, go for the wing.
think it needs 2 canards on each side of front bumper and a black or 4d carbon fiber vinyl wrap on the L's that hang down on either side and the cosmetic looks sweeeeet just my opinion
But do those carbon fiber wings that you can basically DIY on to your car add some downforce and make it perform better or they just serve the purpose of aesthetics
Make sure all the visible carbon pieces aren’t gel coat and they’re actually top coated with quality clear. If not, the gel coat will eventually yellow and look all nasty.
It'd be a miracle if the hood fits perfect right out the box because as far back as I can remember not a single after market carbon company made a hood that fits perfectly...
I think it looks super aggressive down low front and back but it needs something up higher like a carbon roof! :) Does the M2 come with the v brace radiator bars? I cant remember/tell in your video but if it does maybe try wrapping them white to show through the grill and match the car! :D
Don't paint the wing. Carbon wrap the roof too. M series reacing stripes on carbon to match. Personally I'm tired of seeing regular carbon now that I've seen forged carbon. Really would love to see some forged carbon.
@mickey I've removed the skin off my thumbs too taking off the Tesla facelift front bumper plate brackets off and the side chrome. I've burned the hell out of myself heating up and removing that tesla drip molding too lol
Paint the wing and that hood work by TP was magic, but it still looks tricky. Cant say about anything else until the skirts on. I would never normally say this but Mikey is wrong, dont black the hood, it ruins the lines and makes the car look like some Jersey Golf R
Keep all the mods carbon guys, it adds so much aggressiveness to the car! Love the overall look, still it seems a lot "squarier" now, which is pretty weird to be honest, but still looks awesome.
