O my dayz that e30 looks rapid lucky it was just a small ding no major damage... but u gota drive a car fast or no point in building it ... I been following this build from the start loving it as I got a e30 also would love this engine and box in my car 😍
You need to getbout of the car IMMEDIATELY and get behind the fence. When someone crashes in to you at that section of the track it could end worse! Keep up the good work and still a very nice build
Don't think it was the speed, may just be that your setup was a bit too stiff for the Nordshleife? You're off-throttle on the approach at that point so the rear was unloaded and the bumps just spat you round, whereas with a little more travel and give in the setup it may have soaked the bumps up a little better. Either way sick car, and I felt for you seeing it hit the barrier - nothing worse than that feeling.
Exactly that... There is not enough stroke in the damper really, and we think because the grip just instantly disappeared it must have run out of travel or something. There is also a lot of camber and toe gain, which makes the issue of control at the end of the stroke even harder.
@@RegalAutosport bump steer? oh right yeah the classic stuff. imma get some adjustable trailing arms made. i see a lot of these kinda crashes. ughh the rabbit hole wont spare meh
but the track got a lot of ups and downs in altitude, getting the rear end light is also a thing. it happend to me too. but i got lucky, had only flat spots on the tires.
Btw, I put WMI on my rs3 which you sugested, my tuner did to and he convinced me with debunking some of the issues I had with it. Next month I'll send you a message with the tuning results.
@@RegalAutosport yes I did, just have it for a good week. Seller said it had a TTE700 turbo but my tuners debunked that, it's a TTE500 tho which is actualy not that bad said my tuner seeing these engines are heatpumps en a TTE700 ist gonna make it any better, also the spoolup sucks which I think is realy important. Gonna get new injectors, wmi, tcu and ecu remap and some other small things done. When parts arrive they will let me know and I'll keep you posted if you like. He saz 500bhp and very close to 700nm and he is always conservative with his numbers so expecting a lot and can't wait. :D

Nice video, the paart were you crashed is severely cambered, in that way that you really slide out of your car if you ever had the chance to stop there when it is wet and cold. There are also a lto of pine trees (tree sap) and you probably braked or lifted when the camber changed. Noting major happened but if you wanne a drive like that I suggest to have some sort of course..... It is expensive but saves money in the long end....

@@RegalAutosport hey have some questions. I realised that you use 4.1 differential..but can you give us more info on the gearbox ratios? Also do u have any accelation times such as 402m or 0-62 miles etc?

I thought you crashed from bad driving turned out it was illegal widebody mods of Europe, more grip all around would have saved it... Poopie situation.
