The M340 is REELEX's next-generation dual-spindle coiling machine. Featuring state-of-the-art industrial design and the latest coiling technology, the M340 can package up to 80 coils per hour (1,000ft/305m each) running either in a rewind configuration or online fed directly from an extruder.
The M340 features a new AC-based controls architecture, using industry-standard drives and reducing reliance on REELEX-specific parts. Automatic cut and transfer between mandrels allows nearly continuous operation, allowing the M340 to run at high speed in line with an extruder.
Integrated automatic safety doors are designed to ensure safe operation of the machine without being intrusive to the operator, while new traverse, mandrel and buffer designs offer less maintenance and faster setup between products.
