I love this movie so much but the thing that makes it the most scary is that sadly we are not far from developing something like that and the moment we make them self aware we are in trouble. M3GAN is actually a real life actress that is in a mask and a costume though the voice is done by a different actress and in the more dangerous stunts they used an animitronic doll. The sequal comes out in January 2025 can't wait to see what they do with it.

@Jenny sutton Yeah, her name is Amie Donald, and she competes at a high level in dance/acrobatics. She's a lot cuter in real life!😅

@@MtcRead Ya I know they showed her in the behind the scenes,she said she loved playing M3GAN but she wasn't fond of the fact that she kills people haha. Violet Mcraw who plays Cady here is such a talented actress just like her sister is. If you saw Blackphone then her sister plays the main character's sister there the one that has visions and such though I also know her from a show called Sulpher Springs which is a supernatural/time travel type of show.

@@MtcRead Also side note you should check out the movie Smile that came out last year because even though it's directed by a first time director it's freaky as hell and has really good jump scares as well. Kevil Bacon's daughter is the star of the movie which is also cool.

I also agree with you that although this story wasn't original, the execution was impeccable, it seems they knew they had to pull it off because it isn't something that hasn't already been seen so they made sure every aspect worked perfectly. The story works, appropriate amount of camp/comedy makes it unique. Violet is such a great little actress, she gets me with that car scene too!

8:22 the same thing crossed my mind - "cool you don't have to do it, but everyone will be disappointed if you don't". 12:54 this song perfect fit to M3gan 😁 16:18 M3gan walks faster than he runs anyway😆 18:30 M3gan 2 to be continued 😱😅 As soon as I saw the M3gan trailer, I knew it was going to be a fun movie. In addition, information about the creatorsof the next part has been confirmed. I'm glad You liked the video, I liked Your reaction too. I'm waiting for more reactions from You :) I suspect that I have already written (oldness - sadness. and sclerosis), but apart from the previously recommended films, I also recommend Malignant (by James Wan).

ps - speaking of The Haunting of Hill House you might check out the 1963 film of The Haunting. Very atmospheric and very stylish.

Megan 2.0 coming in January 2025. Bruce reminded me of the power loader from Aliens. They show it early in the movie once and you gradually forget it until the climax. M3GAN was portrayed by an 11 year old Kiwi actress with a background in ballet and gymnastics. She did her own stunts as seen in this amazing video! m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yCCXjlz8Ssc.html It’s like 80% of the horror element was saved for the climax. Gave me strong flashbacks of the first Terminator movie. Before that, I was more amused and entertained than scared.

I didn't get a Chucky vibe. But most movies have feels of other movies. The point of the aunt's character is to have character growth ..We all make mistakes in life . The story was great IMO

I thought it might be like Chucky, I was very happy to see that she is her own character! For me personally it's not a problem if I see influences or whatever from other movies, I usually see it as an homage.🤩
