Thank you for this review. I currently have an iPad Air 3 and was considering making an upgrade to the M4 iPad Pro. You have sold me on getting this device! ❤
You forgot to tell us if you ipad is 8 or 16GB of RAM. Please can you tell which one you have, 8 or 16? Because on the other your video you mentioned that you use LumaFision and i just want to know if you are using 8 or 16. iS 8 Is good enough? Thanks
I feel like I’m living a déjà vu moment. I remember all the excitement around the M1 iPad Pros and the anticipation that iPadOS was going to finally get the love it deserves at the following WWDC. Nothing substantial happened. I bought the new M4 11 iPad Pro, but not with the idea it’s going to be something better in the future, I bought it because it’s great right now. If something comes out of WWDC, bonus! Not a make or break for me however.
I have the first gen iPad Pro 11" which launched in 2018. I did order the new 13" M4 iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard & the pencil. I am positively excited about since this will be a huge upgrade for me!!
Dude this is my problem. I have the 11 inch 2018 iPad Pro and I want to upgrade sooo badly but I just don’t know if it’s worth it since the 2018 pro is still so fast
@@Keven-ol1hd The reason why I upgraded is because I have a huge crack in mine otherwise I wouldn't have upgraded. I know it might be a piss poor excuse but I do use my iPad a lot & use it outside so I ordered the one with nano textured glass. The reflection on the one I have is awful. Plus I draw a lot so there it is. Good luck with your decision.
Damn wed I sold my Mac mini m2 cause apple was going to give me 300 I have iPad Pro 11in m4 as well and I LOVE IT for what I do which is music and drawing and coding and light video edit ting the only thing bad is the coding’s part I prefer Mac still
I absolutely love my 13 inch iPad M4. Due to its light weight, I went from the 11 inch to the 13 inch, and it still feels lighter. The screen is amazing, and the horizontal placed camera seals the deal on why it's worth upgrading.
I can't agree less, having owned the M2 version that i eventually sold. The iPad is a frustrating device in that it has so much potential as a hardware platform but it can only run ipad os that makes it actually less functional that a 10 year old Mac mini as a result. The OS is truly a problem. at least for me. There is no way at these prices this device should be less functional and free than your average Mac mini.
Really great video! I'm genuinely surprised your channel doesn't have more views and subscribers. This is probably the best iPad M4 review I've seen so far, btw. great editing at 1:30. It's clear you put a lot of time and effort into your videos, and it shows in the high quality. Overall, an excellent review. Thank you very much! (I am thinking of upgrading from my current iPad (iPad Pro 2018) to the new m4 in Silver, do you think that ill notice a huge difference?)
I ordered the 11 inch version earlier today with the Magic Keyboard. I’m hoping Apple will unlock the capabilities of the M4 chip. I will be using it for school.
I still have the 2020 12.9 iPad Pro and keyboard. It’s no slouch. I’d love the new centered camera and function keys on the new keyboard. Apple sucks for that bullshit. There’s no way it’s gonna replace my Mac tho. iPadOS file system sucks and if I can’t run Ecamm Live, it’s not a computer. It’s a tablet. That’s all it ever was and will be. I hoped that’d be more, but I had to accept the fact that it won’t. It’ll always be a middle man
@@FaizAly I know Apple likes to see everyone jump on a bandwagon, then they take it and make it better, for the most part. If it becomes more than a tablet like surface pro something, then it won’t be an iPad. But bro, if I could run Ecamm live on it, ahhhhhh man
@@jandeanglin8157 I thought about that, but it’s a hard choice because the screen real estate in viewing mode is great. The Magic Keyboard also is a bit better for typing.
After using both sizes, I definitely prefer the 13”. It doesn’t feel too all when you get used to it. Plus this new one is drastically thinner and lighter so it’s not as hefty. The screen real estate + keyboard makes it the perfect choice
@@FaizAly I’m noticing a lot of people are liking the 13” which is kind of surprising when most people usually don’t like large devices. I was just using it on my break, and using RU-vid, and playing video games was amazing. This may be an iPad I keep for a long time.
I think people also forget the fact that the iPad disappearing into a magical sheet of glass that can do anything was Steve's original vision for the iPad. And it's not just thinness that matters. The actual weight reduction actually does contribute to achieving this vision. There's also a reason why every iPad introduced since 2010, regardless of the model, is always advertised to have up to 10 hour of battery life. Because that's always been Apple's target for every generation. The fact that people don't realize this just goes to show what they only see matters and doesn't take into account how the actual "feel" of a device will impact usability.
I do more work on my iPad than I do my $2300 Windows PC. My PC is used for games and my iPad for work. So, my PC is an overblown toy more than the iPad.
