yep. This is for a certain type of use.

I'm not an illustrator and could frankly care less about the mini. Until they put OLED across the entire lineup, this is the only option.

True it's a good value to get the iPad Air if you haven't had one before or needed a new one because your old air is dated. BUT it sucks that iPad 12,9 or 11 pros will not work with the new Apple Pencil pro, only the new air or pros work with them, even though they're running the same M2 chips with hovering support. It's a scummy way of apple to get you to upgrade when you don't have too.

Same! I was considering the new one just to make the jump from 11" to 13" but tbh ...at this rate I may just shift to a normal windows LT or Surface. At least then I wouldn't be stuck with what feels like a software limited OS.

If you are not a Professional then No. why even buy the Pro model???? Just get the Air version. People really need to start using common sense when purchasing stuff. Many Tripe A games like RE4, RE8, Death Stranding will use the new M4 horsepower. Many Pro Apps for animations, 3D sculpting, Video editing will do as well. Stop complaining over stuff you don’t even use.

It will definitely get used. My m1 is stuttering and borderline unusable in my situations. These comments are just bot copy paste comments.

@@powerhouse884a professional can do the work on the air. Pro level hardware with a child’s os is unacceptable for a device that costs this much.

From what I’ve seen in other videos, the nano screen does reduce glare, but at the expense of screen sharpness.

@@LegendaryMalzeno me too hoping to hear first hand. I want the glare reduction but I don’t want it to have a fuzzy or muted appearance, like it’s on low battery mode or something. Don’t want that.

@@ChadNJ thanks 😊 I was worried about that so I got it without. It’s fine as long as the oled isnt more prone to glare. I don’t use it outside and don’t think I will have a problem. I worried I would lose the quality of color with the texture to.

Umm, Apple and Sony/Vio _(since sold and failed)_ have been making crazy thin machines since the early 2000's, just they had heat issues. But it's fun TO pretend this is new... _saying nothing of the power lost by inefficient coding into a runtime environment - not machine nor even C/C++ compiled, just scripts interpretted through multiple layers of wasted processing power_ === As an... --cough-- over 40 year old, NOPE this isn't revolutionary, merely evolutionary which is still an accomplishment.

@@justonlyjohn6596 i agree about coding efficiency... there are things that aren't being innovated on for sure. but touch displays of this size, pixel density, color depth, and brightness are insane. I remember the first iPad and it felt like magic, truly. I was 10 at the time.

As a fellow 40-year-old I totally agree, the only major upgrade I saw was a change from our 10" Black and White TV to a 14" color TV in the mid 90s.

@@Ephraim_MukosoI’m 67 and I’ve seen massive changes in TVs. I remember in the early 70s repairing NZs 1st colour TVs. Exponential changes for sure.

Apple has changed the magnets and the charging system because they moved the camera to the landscape side. So my guess right now is that you can't but I'll try it when I can review it

It appears to be the same as the one on their other displays. Works pretty well, but noticeably reduces how dark the blacks are, and decreases the cream clarity.

Need 120hz on that mini and I’m sold. The mini is so portable it’s nuts, it can easily fit in a pocket and weights practically nothing.

IPad mini is pointless and should never exist. It's almost as big as a phone, without the portability of a phone.
