Did u assemble the engine in the end? What special modifications you had to do, if any? I'm also planing on doing this, but friend told me that you have to drill some oil holes in block before putting everything together. Cheers!
I have the same question but considering the m43 and m42 lineups blocks being absolutely the same i dont think you need to drill anything, cuz the M42B18 is same piston width its only the piston head and travel distance that is different between the engines and ofc the head , idk if valves would hit or can a B16 head remain
