I honestly feel like I'm listening to myself a while ago. I barely felt anything anymore, I didn't want anything, I no longer had hope for the future, I didn't care about building a life I would enjoy, I didn't care about creating relationships with people... I didn't like this pessimistic version of me but there it was, poisoning me day after day after day. I'm completely unable to say where this came from but in my opinion, it's because of a set of hard events that showed up lately, I didn't talk about them to anybody and I felt powerless, as if I didn't have enough strength to get over my burdens. It was a hard time and for whoever is going through this right now, I would advise you to talk to some people whom you can trust about some of your problems (maybe not all of them but at least some of them), to maybe help reduce the impact your burdens have on you and to discover some other perspectives from people about how they would handle it. That's what I'd do if I could turn back time. And again, this was such an incredible audio Papercut. Your content is always at its best!
First of all: thank you so much🖤your comments are always so sweet and supportive! You don’t even know how much I appreciate them!!! But yeah - I’m reading a book right now where these kinds of feelings are being described as a „white depression“ - which is kind of like a „normal“ depression but without the extremely negative feelings. You just have this numbness and lack of sensitivity to things that normally stimulate you. But I guess most people wouldn’t identify those feelings as a depression when confrontation by them - at least I didn’t when I was feeling that way… but yeah, talk to someone - someone understanding! The worst it can do is give you a new perspective one these feelings! I hope you eventually had someone to talk to!!!!
There's absolutely no problem. I'm just saying the truth. Not so many content creators bother to create qualitative content, but you do, so it's pleasant 😁 Oh okay, I've never heard of the white depression. It's intriguing. I was wondering if I was having some sort of depression though, but I wasn't sure it was. I'm not living the ''normal life'' so to speak, so I thought it was related. Anyway, as time went on, most of things got better so I'm happy. May I ask what's the name of the book you were referring to? It's often hard for people to talk about their feelings but god knows it can help sometimes. Of course, it's efficient and productive when told to good, supportive people. Not when it's a bunch of idiots who are constantly judging (it generally makes things worse).
@@ASwissGuy well, I’m just putting out the content that I would like to see - so thank you a lot!! I think almost every person on earth has had an experience with depression - some more some less. And I agree, circumstances matter A LOT. I’m glad, you’re better now though! Unfortunately, the book has not yet been translated into English since it’s rather new- I’ll let you know when it is, though! True, sometimes life feels like an installment of the diary of a wimpy kid - surrounded by idiots😅
@@PapercutAudio Interesting theory. It's probably the case. Going from the billionaire business magnate who gets everything he wants by snapping his fingers, living in his mansion and who's surrounded by hundreds of executives, but who is emotionally alone with no one who cares about him except his money, to the civil servant who hates his job but comes home every night to a partner who cares about him. We all got things to deal with. I recently came across an article from the Harvard Medical School that said ''The happiest people in the world are those who have the best social relationships.'' It's also why I was referring to talking to people when one is dealing with whatever problem it may be. Some things can be handled, but help never has to be cropped from the image. It also helps one see who's there for them and which, in the end, leads to creating strong relationships with the right people. ''Value quality over quantity.'' Oh, all right. Let me know about the book when you can : )
@@ASwissGuy yeah, I mean, money won’t buy you happiness, right? ;) I mean it would certainly eliminate s lot of my problems but you know what I mean…with wealth come more fears and fear damages us and our relationships - so i guess trying to be happy with the things one has is best:) Yesss, I recently was invited to a party and I was so excited to maybe make some new friends. But when I arrived there it suddenly struck me that I am more than happy with the friends that I’ve got! Because who needs that many friends? You’ll never have a deep emotional connection with that many people! I mean, who even has time for that?! Those are just unrealistic standards… (Also I just have to point out that I find it so funny that we’re having these deep conversations under a BF-Comfort-Audio😅)
